Seattle's Sakura-Con convention announced on Friday that it will host musical duo GARNiDELiA, animation director and character designer Hiromi Kato, and director and animator Osamu Kobayashi. The convention will take place April 3-5 at the Washington State Convention Center.

GARNiDELiA consists of composer toku and vocalist MARiA. The pair's debut single "ambiguous" was the opening theme song for Kill la Kill, and they have since preformed theme songs for Mekaku City Actors, the irregular at magic high school, and Gundam: Reconguista in G. This will be their first appearance in the United States.

Kato designed characters for Violinist of Hamelin, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, and the upcoming anime Chain Chronicle, among others. He also served as animation director on Fantasista Doll, I'm Gonna Be An Angel, and Gad Guard.

Kobayashi wrote and directed BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad and Paradise Kiss. His other credits include Blue Submarine No. 6, End of the World, Table and Fishman, and Zoids Genesis.

Sakura-Con also announced on Sunday that it will host voice actress Sumi Shimamoto for the second time. Shimamoto has voiced characters such as Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro's Clarisse, Dear Brother's Saint-Just, and the title character in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.
