Square Enix released its zombie card game Deadman's Cross for PlayStation Vita on Tuesday. The game, which boasted 4.7 million downloads worldwide last year, is available for free.

Square Enix describes the story:

The setting is America in the year 2030. The government suddenly declares martial law in which everyone is restricted from going outside. You break the law and cautiously step outside — what you see is a world overrun with strange creatures called “Deadmen.”

The game features music by Naoshi Mizuta (Parasite Eve II, Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XIV), battle design: by Hiroyuki Ito (Final Fantasy series), character design by Akira Oguro (Final Fantasy IV: The After Years) and story by Yuri Tsuchiya (Guardian Cross).

The mobile version is available on Google Play and iTunes.
