Yurucamp Anime's Theme Song Artists, New Visual Unveiled

Video series featuring Yumiri Hanamori learning how to camp also debuts

The official website for the television anime of Afro's Yurucamp (Yurukyan△, Laid-Back Camp Δ) manga revealed the theme song artists and a new visual for the anime on Friday. Asaka will perform the opening theme song "SHINY DAYS," while Eri Sasaki will perform the ending theme song "Fuyu Biyori." The CD single for both songs is slated for January 24.

The site also began streaming the first of a series of six videos titled "Hanamori Yumiri Hajimete no Camp Nyūmon" (Yumiri Hanamori's First Camp Training), featuring voice actress Yumiri Hanamori learning how to go camping. In the first episode, Hanamori learns from camping instructor Yūka Koishi that it is possible to make camping a cute activity.

The anime will premiere in January and will air on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. The show's staff will host a pre-screening event on December 10 in Tokyo. Crunchyroll will stream the anime.

Yoshiaki Kyougoku (Kuroko's Basketball and Robotics;Notes episode director, Tokyo Ghoul unit director) is directing the series at C-Station (STARMYU, Dragonar Academy). Jin Tanaka (Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode, Anne-Happy) is handling the series composition, and Mutsumi Sasaki (Dragonar Academy, Chaos;HEAd, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~) is the character designer. Akiyuki Tateyama (Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear, Idol Incidents) is composing the music at MAGES.

The "slow outdoor manga" follows two young women. Rin likes to go camping by herself along the lakes that provide a scenic view of Mt. Fuji. Nadeshiko loves to take cycling trips by herself to places where she can see Mt. Fuji. After they meet, Rin and Nadeshiko take camping trips, eat cup ramen together, and enjoy the scenery. Yen Press will release the first volume of the manga in March 2018.
