The official website for the television anime of Seiichi Takayama and Yukisan's The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar (Hyakuren no Haō to Seiyaku no Valkyria) light novel series revealed on Tuesday that Yurie Funato will no longer voice the character Linnea, as she has left her agency Holy Peak. The staff will announce a new cast member for the character at a later date.
As of Tuesday, Funato is no longer listed in Holy Peak's talent roster. She had been listed on the agency's website as recently as Saturday, April 28. The official Twitter account for the anime deleted the March 24 post that originally reported half of the main cast members (including Funato). Funato has not posted on her Twitter account since April 17.
The site also revealed the character visuals and the anime's July premiere.
The cast includes:
Rie Suegara as Felicia
Arisa Date as Sigrun
Maki Kawase as Ingrid
Linnea (voice cast member to be announced)
Aya Uchida as Mitsuki
In addition, Aoi Yūki will play the character Albertina, while Ayana Taketatsu will play Christina.
J-Novel Club licensed the novels and is publishing them digitally. The publisher describes the story:
Some urban legends are best left untested! Yuuto Suoh gets more than he bargained for when he joins his childhood friend Mitsuki Shimoya in testing out an urban legend. When he uses his phone to take a picture of himself with the local shrine's divine mirror, he is whisked off into another world – one heavily steeped in the lore of the old Norse myths. Using his knowledge gained from school and from his solar-powered smartphone, he has the chance to bring the Wolf Clan, the same people who cared for him, to prominence, all while earning the adoration of a group of magic-wielding warrior maidens known as the Einherjar.
Kōsuke Kobayashi (Idol Time PriPara, Alice or Alice) is directing the anime at EMT Squared. Natsuko Takahashi (ATASHIn'CHI, Romeo × Juliet, Love Tyrant) is in charge of the series scripts. Mariko Ito (Log Horizon, ViVid Strike!, Love Tyrant) is adapting the character designs for animation, and is also credited as chief animation director alongside Miyako Yatsu (Say "I love you.", Flowers of Evil, DIVE!!).
Aya Uchida, who plays Mitsuki in the anime, will perform the anime's opening theme song, and petit milady will perform the ending theme song.
Hobby Japan began publishing printed novels for the series in August 2013. The company published the 15th novel volume on March 30. Chany is drawing a manga adaptation on Hobby Japan's website, and the company shipped the third compiled volume last June.

Update: Funato posted on Tuesday to confirm that she became a free agent on May 1 after leaving both her agency Holy Peak and her musical unit Purely Monster (A Centaur's Life) on April 30. She had broken a bone and damaged the ligaments in her lower right leg at the end of April 2017, and while she was able to continue working, she broke the bone again in July. She continued to feel pain from the injury even into this year, and decided to leave the industry to focus on recuperation as advised by her doctor.
