Hindi Dub for 'Bofuri: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, So I'll Max Out My Defense' Anime Streams on YouTube

The first anime based on Yuumikan's novels premiered in Japan in January 2020. Netflix began streaming the anime in India in September 2020. Muse Asia streamed the first season of the anime as a launch title for its Muse India channel. Crunchyroll is also streaming the season in India with an English dub. Amazon Prime's Anime Times added the anime in March 2024 and JioHotstar's Anime Hub added it as a launch title in May 2024.
Shin Oonuma (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, WATAMOTE) and Mirai Minato (Masamune-kun's Revenge, Sunohara-Sō no Kanrinin-san) directed the series at SILVER LINK. Fumihiko Shimo (Anima Yell!, New Game!) was in charge of series composition. Kazuya Hirata (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Sunohara-Sō no Kanrinin-san) designed the characters and served as chief animation director.
The anime's second season premiered in January 2023.
Yuumikan began serializing the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Become Novelists) website in 2016, and finished the story in February 2025. Kadokawa began releasing the story in print novel form with art by Koin in September 2017.
Jirō Oimoto launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine in May 2018.
