“ANIME UNLEASHED” PROGRAMMING BLOCK



Never-Before-Seen Anime Series to Premiere Each Month February Through May





LOS ANGELES, February 15, 2005 – G4 – video game television - treats viewers to a fresh line-up of never-before-seen Anime series which premiere each month, February through May, as part of the network's edgy late-night programming block called Anime Unleashed. Fans won't want to miss the action and adventure of all-new episodes of series: “Magical Shopping Arcade Abenoshi,” “Gad Guard,” “R.O.D. the TV” and viewer fave, “Gungrave.”



February – “Magical Shopping Arcade Abenoshi”

The new line-up on Anime Unleashed kicked off with the premiere of “Magical Shopping Arcade Abenoshi,” Monday, February 7 at 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT. Tune in all week to follow geeky friends Sasshi and Arumi as they make their way through a parallel world full of killer kung-fu fighters, menacing mushrooms and a cast of madcap characters. If you missed it the first time, the series will re-air Tuesday, February 15 through Wednesday, February 23 at 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT.



March – “Gad Guard”

From the creators of popular Anime series “Last Exile” and “Hellsing,” G4 brings all-new episodes of Gonzo's “Gad Guard” to Anime fans in March. Follow the adventures of Hajiki Sananda and his Gad turned Techode robot as Sananda struggles to support his family. Brush up on the last season of “Gad Guard” when G4 repeats episodes 1-12 the week of February 28 at 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT. Then get ready for all new episodes of “Gad Guard,” Monday through Friday, premiering March 7 at 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT.



April – “R.O.D the TV”

Anime in April continues with “R.O.D the TV,” the popular series which highlights the adventures of three young paper masters, Anita, Maggie and Michelle who use their abilities to manipulate paper into wild weapons and magical objects to protect Nenene, the author, from a mad bomber. Follow the three sisters from Hong Kong to Tokyo when G4 airs episodes 1-12 the week of April 25 at 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT. Never-before-seen episodes of “R.O.D. the TV” premiere the week of April 4 at 1:00 AM ET/10:00 PM PT.



May – “Gungrave”

Finally, in May, G4 presents “Gungrave,” the fan-favorite series filled with revenge and redemption. Tune in as Brandon Heat returns from beyond the grave to bring down Millenion, the mafia organization that led to his demise. G4 airs episodes

1-12 the week of April 25 at 1:00 AM ET/11:00 PM PT. All new episodes of “Gungrave” premiere Monday, May 2 at 1:00 ET/10:00 PM PT.
