not sure how many chihayafuru fans are around here but this trailer gave me a lot of manga feels.

I just might have to watch the anime again. I think this will be my third time through. Or maybe fourth.
Seems they found a good look-alike for Shinobu, and the scene on the steps at the shrine suggests she can carry the role as well. Shinobu is one of my favorite characters in the story with her mix of immaturity and strength of will. |

Agreed. She looks quite well. though gotta admit that I first didn't like the cast (when it was just announced) but then with the trailers I was awed. they all seemed so perfect for the role what I still don't like is the perfume's song. I think it doesn't have the chihayafuru feeling at all. |
