I totally forgot about the existence of Hakushon Daimaō 2020. Honestly, I didn’t expect for it to make it onto the TV ranking. The 6.2% rating that it earned is a good start.

Not good for Digimon.
Dragon Ball Super and Gegege no Kitaro have always appeared on the weekly lists.

I feel like the reason why is because Digimon isn't nearly as big as DBS, Kitaro, or One Piece, so not a whole lot of viewers have a whole lot of incentive to tune in. Maybe it'll randomly pop up on the TV ranking for a week or two. Or not. We'll just have to wait and see.

Speaking of One Piece, it seems that viewers come back to Fuji TV right after Digimon airs.

Too bad not seeing Digimon in the ranking, I don't know what's happening here. I thought the franchise was big in Japan, and is a family-friendly kid-oriented show so with more reason it should have no trouble showing up, I mean if Kitarou could always make it using the same time slot I don't know what's stopping Digimon, I hope this doesn't mean the show gets cancelled.

Kitarou may have been considered a "family-friendly" show, but a lot of the stories were intended for adults. There were big themes at play like xenophobia and political malfeasance, with many quite dark episodes and some that were truly sad or tragic. I can't count how many times I, and other viewers, commented on the contrast between the content of a Kitarou episode and the timeslot in which it was carried.

I don't have the same sense about Digimon which looks much more targeted at children.
