I am admittedly looking forward to seeing if they alter any of the appearances in the Mandalorian manga. Like Cara Dune showing up and looking absolutely nothing like Gina Carano for instance.

Only Marvel is trying for the Shounen market right now but all their short-lived Jump efforts failed. DC and now Star Wars go for older teens and 20-somethings. Are adult children more lucrative right now? Star Wars is currently all in on D+ and DC is equally pushing their streaming lineup hard. That might be the reason to go Seinen as Jump readers don´t have a streaming service of their own.
