Looks like it is taking the place of Jewelpet Magical Change's timeslot - and if it starts in February then this years Jewelpet's getting cut off early instead of waiting until April with a full 52 episodes like usual.
Fairilu looks super cute though, so I'm still excited to check it out, even if it does mean saying goodbye to Jewelpet |

Hype! Still hope plushes are included in that other merchandise. I would assume so, given this is Sanrio. Wasn't expecting it to air as early as February.

It looks good, but oh dear god they got the franchise killer DEEN on, didn't they just destroy the Jewelpet franchise. This may not last long at all.
It's the end for Jewelpet especially after being cut short to 39 episodes. |

The Jewelpet anime will probably live on in some form... probably an OVA. I'm hopin it and this will even have a crossover at some point.

Magical Change did abysmally in Japan, like halfway towards Kira Deco bad and even then that had a full run unlike Magical Change. DEEN just destroyed the franchise and now they are setting their sights on another. This installment just wasn't very good although I love Larimar to death but she's the only reason why I didn't drop it. |

Basically they baited the audience with a somewhat interesting premise (pets turn into humans and learn their ways), and then immediately dropped it and made this season nothing but pointless cartoon antics. Worst JP season for sure. |
