99-Cent App Turns 3DS Into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Controller

Nintendo began offering a Smash Controller app in its eShop service on Sunday. With this US$0.99 download, a player can use a Nintendo 3DS system as a controller for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Previously, each player had to have a copy of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (in addition to the copy of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U) to enable this feature.
Nintendo confirmed many other DLC sets for the game on Sunday, including Street Fighter's Ryu, Fire Emblem's Roy, more Mii fighter costumes, and more stages.
