Kemono Friends Season 2 Anime's New Visual Hints at 'New Friends'
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The staff for the second season of the Kemono Friends anime revealed a new visual for the anime on Wednesday. The text in the visual reads, "Found new friends."

The new visual debuted at 24 zoos and aquariums in Japan on October 19, and will stay up until October 28. Mine Yoshizaki, the designer for the franchise, drew the visual.
The staff have been updating a previous visual for the series, with the latest version of the visual showing Serval, the new character Caracal, the members of the PPP idol unit, Fennec, Common Raccoon, Giant Armadillo, and Giant Pangolin.
The staff has yet to reveal the new season's director and studio. The first season's director TATSUKI previously said he would not be working on the second season, and the show's producer said that anime studio Yaoyorozu will not return.
The staff is holding auditions for a new unit in Kemono Friends.
Nexon's original Kemono Friends app game launched in early 2016 and ended service in December of that year — before the Kemono Friends anime even aired. The 12-episode television anime then premiered on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka in January 2017 and ended in March 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
