Anime Limited has made the following announcement on its X/Twitter feed:

"We're hiring! We're expanding our team and are looking for a Product Manager. Join our production team and be part of a dynamic and exciting workplace, working on classic and new films, TV series and more."

The full details of the position are given on Anime Limited's website. The position involves managing production primarily for UK releases and French-UK co-productions.

Daily responsibilities include overseeing operations of production for the French and UK sides of the business; providing support to senior managers; coordinating projects with other project managers; and managing projects with colleagues across the production chain.

An understanding of anime is described as a "plus" for the position. However, there are a great many other requirements. They include previous product management experience ("a must") and understanding of the COGS (Cost Of Goods Sold) and an ability to manage them.

The ability to speak, read, and write in French at (at least) business level is described as highly desirable, as is knowledge of authoring disc assets.

Oher requirements include understanding software including Mac OSX, Microsoft Excel, Airtable, and also Aegissub (or other subtitling software), Adobe Premiere / Final Cut and Adobe Media Encoder.

Anime Limited adds that 90% of the time on the job would involve use of a video display terminal, so a successful applicant must be able to sit for extended periods.

The salary is described as depending on experience, but it is "expected" to be between £30,000 and £35,000.

Applicants should send a CV and a Covering Letter to [email protected] , with applicants being notified by the end of May whether they will go on to an interview for the position,
