North Carolina's Animazement Hosts Hiroaki Hirata

Animazement has announced that Japanese voice actor Hiroaki Hirata, best known as One Piece's Sanji, will appear at the May 27-29 convention in Raleigh, North Carolina. Hirata has also voiced Benny in Black Lagoon and Sha Gojyo in the Saiyuki anime franchise, and is the regular Japanese dub actor for Hollywood actor Johnny Depp.
Animazement will take place at the Raleigh Convention Center. Other announced guests include D.Gray-man voice actors Todd Haberkorn (Allen Walker) and Cherami Leigh (Road Kamelot).
Anime USA, a convention based in Arlington, Virginia announced on Thursday that voice actors Laura Bailey (Fullmetal Alchemist's Lust, Kodocha's Sana) and Travis Willingham (Fullmetal Alchemist's Roy Mustang, D.Gray-man's Yu Kanda) will appear at its 2011 event. Tokyo-based DJ SiSeN will also appear as a guest DJ at the event. Anime USA 2011 is scheduled for November 18 through 20 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City.
