The March issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is revealing additional cast, staff, theme song artists, character designs, and April premiere for the television anime of Yoshiaki Sukeno's Twin Star Exorcists (Sōsei no Onmyōji) manga on Thursday.

Yū Serizawa (Mushibugyō's Tenma, Shomin Sample's Aika) will play the character Mayura Otomi.

Junichi Suwabe (Fate/stay night's Archer, GATE's Yōji Itami) will play Seigen Amakawa.

Wagakki Band will perform the opening theme song "Valkyrie -Ikusa Otome-" (Valkyrie -War Maiden-), while Hitomi Kaji will perform the ending theme song "Eyes."

The previously announced cast includes:

Natsuki Hanae as Rokuro Enmadō

Megumi Han as Benio Adashino

Ayumu Murase as Yūto Ijika, Rokuro's childhood friend (not pictured)

The additional staff includes Hidetsugu Itō for prop and kegare design, and Saori Aida for color design. They will join the previously announced staff, which includes Tomohisa Taguchi (Persona 4 the Golden Animation, Persona 3 the Movie #2 Midsummer Knight's Dream, Persona 3 the Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth), who is directing the series at Studio Pierrot (Naruto Shippūden, Tokyo Ghoul, Yona of the Dawn). Shishō Igarashi (Unlimited Psychic Squad director) is serving as assistant director, Naruhisa Arakawa (MAOYU, Outbreak Company, Kingdom) is handling the series composition, Kikuko Sadakata (Corpse Princess, Muromi-san, Devils and Realist) is designing the characters, and Itsuko Takeda (Level E, Kingdom) is the chief animation director.

The anime's official website previously streamed a teaser video for the anime.

Viz Media is publishing the series in North America, and it published the third compiled volume on January 5. The company describes the story:

Rokuro dreams of becoming anything but an exorcist! Then mysterious Benio turns up. The pair are dubbed the "Twin Star Exorcists" and learn they are fated to marry...
Can Rokuro escape both fates?
When Rokuro's best friend Ryogo goes missing, Rokuro is forced to ask Benio for help to enter Magano, the realm of the evil Kegare, to rescue him!

Sukeno (Binbogami ga!) launched the "new-generation onmyō (ancient Japanese occultism) fantasy" in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in November 2013. Shueisha released the seventh compiled book volume on January 4.
