1st episode of anime premieres on Indonesian streaming service on October 11

Indonesian streaming service Ponimu Indonesia announced on Tuesday that it will stream Merc Storia: Mukiryoku no Shōnen to Bin no Naka no Shōjo- (Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle), the television anime of Happy Elements' Merc Storia -Yujutsushi to Suzu no Shirabe~ smartphone role-playing game, as it airs in Japan. The stream will begin on October 11. The anime will be the service's second simulcast streaming title, following its stream of Ms. vampire who lives in my neighborhood.

The anime will premiere in Japan on AT-X on October 11 at 10:30 p.m. before airing later that evening on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and BS11.

The full cast so far includes:

Fumitoshi Oizaki (Romeo × Juliet, Etotama, AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue) is directing the anime at Encourage Films, and is also in charge of series composition alongside Hiroki Uchida (Gamers!, Schwarzes Marken) and Hitomi Amamiya (Yawaraka Sangokushi Tsukisase!! Ryofuko-chan). Happy Elements is supervising the scenario. Yukiko Akiyama (Black Cat, Yumeiro Pâtissière, Puzzle & Dragons X) is drawing the character designs, and Hirotoshi Arai is credited for sub character design.

The Mili music group are credited for music production, and are also performing the opening theme song "Origin."

The fantasy strategy role-playing game is set in a world where humans and monsters co-exist. In the main story, a boy apprentice "Yujutsushi" (healer), with the power to heal those who clash, embarks on a journey to restore the memories of his friend Merc, a girl trapped in a bottle. The game then expands with different event stories in each country.

The game launched for iOS and Android devices in 2014.

Happy Elements' Last Period: the journey to the end of the despair also inspired a television anime that premiered on April 12.
