ADV Films Announces Release Date for First Volume of Get Backers

ADV FILMS ANNOUNCES RELEASE DATE FOR FIRST VOLUME OF GET BACKERS

HOUSTON, June 21, 2004—ADV Films, the #1 producer-distributor of anime in the U.S., has set a street date of August 24, 2004 for the DVD release of Get Backers: G & B on the Case, the first exciting and comical volume in this action-packed series .

The Get Backers volumes are based on the hit manga by Rando Ayamine and Yuya Aoki as seen in Weekly Shōnen Magazine (Japanese). The high stakes action scenes were animated by Studio DEEN , who's brought fans popular films like King of Bandit Jing and Cowboy Bebop.


Story

Everyone knows the feeling of coming home and finding their home broken into. Limited Collector's Edition Available!

The first volume of Get Backers is also available as a Collector's Edition, which includes the Volume 1: G & B on the Case DVD and an attractive custom series art box to house volumes 1-5 (SRP $39.98).


Get Backers: G & B on the Case (SRP $29.98 DVD) is a DVD-only release, including five complete episodes in both English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 language versions, with English subtitles. Extras include: clean opening and closing animation, a production sketches, behind the scenes, commentaries and ADV previews.
