Animator/Director Naoki Yoshibe to Be Otakon Guest

Washington, D.C. (July 17, 2019) – Animator and director Naoki Yoshibe will be a guest at Otakon 2019, according to Otakorp Inc.

Yoshibe worked at Kamikaze Doga Ltd. from 2011 to 2016. Among Yoshibe's credits were directing the opening sequences to such TV animated series as "Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure" and "GATCHAMAN CROWDS"; and music videos for Sumire Uesaka in "Kakumei Teki Broadway Shugisha Doumei," and for Sound Horizon in "Todaka No Hoshi." In recent works, Yoshibe directed "Hanebado!" and the "MIX" opening sequence.

Starting in 2019, Yoshibe is working at Orange Ltd. for a new series as assistant director and on a short piece as director.

In 2017, Yoshibe wrote "Short Animation Making Koza -Naoki Yoshibe works by CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO/EX."

Otakon 2019 will be held July 26-28, 2019 at the Walter Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
