Justin Cook Added to Guest List for Otakon 2023

Washington, D.C. (June 6, 2023) – Voice director and actor Justin Cook will be a guest at Otakon 2023, according to Otakorp Inc.

Cook began work in anime dubbing more than 20 years ago as the ADR engineer on "Dragon Ball Z." Since then, he has voice directed episodes of "Dragon Ball," "Yū Yū Hakusho," "Fruits Basket," "Kiddy Grade," and the features "Mass Effect: Paragon Lost" and "Strike Witches: The Movie."

He has worked as a producer since 2003 and has produced hundreds of dubs, including the 2019 theatrical film "Dragon Ball Super: Broly."

His voice acting work includes the characters Eijiro Kirishima in "My Hero Academia"; Hatsu*Haru Sohma in ”Fruits Basket"; Chiba from "BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad"; Captains Bellamy & Kid in "One Piece"; and Raditz, Super Buu & Dende in the "Dragon Ball" franchise, as well as Yusuke Urameshi in "Yū Yū Hakusho."

Otakon 2023 will be held from July 28 to July 30 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
