Air (TV) Masterpiece This show blew me away. I still don't understand the ending, but it was so good! It made me want to play the game it's based on, even if it is a hentai game. Although I think they released a non-hentai version as well.
Black Blood Brothers (TV) Good
Cookie-san no Newsroom (April fool's JOKE)
Cowboy Bebop (TV) Excellent
Digimon: The Movie (U.S. movie) Good
Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) Excellent Ahhh! I can't believe the way they ended this! How meannn! I want them to finish it when the manga ends, even though I know it's an empty hope.
Full Moon o Sagashite (TV) Masterpiece This show made me cry like none other. It actually made me seriously depressed that it was over. I loved the ending, but thinking about Meroko and Izumi was sad. But I cried the most because Meroko became an angel and she TOTALLY deserved it, and Takuto ♥ Mitsuki got to be together. Poor Izumiiii, though. This show is totally worth seeing though, no matter who you are, because it will touch your heart.
Full Moon o Sagashite: Cute Cute Adventure (special) Very good Adorable. 'Nuff said.
Genshiken (TV) Excellent
Grrl Power (OAV) Good I loved the simultaneous release. Good idea. Although I do still love my fansubs.
.hack//SIGN (TV) Excellent This show sure makes you think. But unfortunately it also screws you up so that all you can think is "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON." Oh well, all is as it must be, I like to say.
Howl's Moving Castle (movie) Masterpiece This movie can be so jumpy and I'm positive that I had to hit pause at least three times and sit thinking about what just happened, but at the end of it all I was extremely pleased. Miyazaki does it again. He's just too amazing for his own good. I still can't believe he doesn't want to be in the Academy. It's cute that he thinks it means his retirement is coming soon. Because it isn't. It better not. Because then I would cry.
InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time Good The snow scene is touching. I watched it over and over again. And the voice acting is superb. Yamaguchi Kappei is a god. Not quite on Miyazaki's level, but still quite something in his own rite. Although I abhor the character designs, the story is quite sweet, even if it has nothing to do with the actual, more important, very drawn out story.
Kanon (TV 1/2002) Very good This was the first series I ever finished. So very good. A bit weird at times. It actually didn't make a lot of sense now that I think about it.
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Masterpiece This show... Is. So. Effing. Incredible. I want them to release it over here right now. Right this minute so that I can buy it. I need to give these people all of my money. And my house. And my car. Except my parents own two of those three things. But still. Anyone and everyone involved with the birth of this masterpiece deserves some kind of award. An award that comes with a trillion dollars. It's that great.
My-HiME (TV) Excellent Where to being?! GREAT cast of characters. Natsuki, Shizuru, Midori, Nagi, & Mikoto to name a few to stand out. Mai was a bit annoying and Tate's line at the end was so cheesy, but it did come together very nicely. I was so happy! This had better be a huge hit in the US, it deserves it.
My-Otome (TV) Very good Ahh. The sequel. To one of my favorite shows ever. The animation was great. The characters not as great as the first one. Not enough Natsuki, Shizuru, Midori and Mikoto, but I was able to cope. Sort of. I'm still confused as to where Tate went. And disgusted by Arika and Nina's love for Sergay. I mean ew. Did Woody Allen have a hand in this, I mean really, you just don't lust after someone you consider your father. It's just very wrong. Akane and Shiho were priceless (and-most notable for Akane-alive) in this series though. And Nao was as great as ever. Miss Maria kicked serious butt too. I haven't figured out how exactly it relates to Mai-HiME yet, except that I can be sure it does because of the star and Fuuka Gakuen showing up and such. Those OVAs (whenever they come out) will hopefully clear that up. Hopefully. [Here's to hoping we get another Mai-Series.]
Naruto (TV) Excellent
Ouran High School Host Club (TV) Excellent
Paprika (movie) Masterpiece
Pokémon 2000 - The Movie (movie 2) Decent
Pokémon 3 - The Movie (movie 3) Decent
Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios (movie 5) Good
Pokémon: The First Movie (movie 1) Good
Princess Mononoke (movie) Masterpiece This movie made me cry. A lot. All of Miyazaki's movies do, but this one made me cry the most. Something about it touched the hippie in me. The hippie that never had a decade to run free in. The hippie that didn't even know what "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" was until the year 2003. That hippie loved this movie. And the rest of me thought it was peachy too, obviously.
Reign: The Conqueror (TV) Worst ever
Sailor Moon S: The Movie Excellent This movie makes me cry so much, especially when I'm lovesick. It's the saddest of the three Sailormoon movies, and probably my favorite, although I do love Sailormoon R because I used to be obsessed with the song from the dub, "Power of Love". Yeah. I _did_ used to watch dubs. Funny, ain't it.
Spirited Away (movie) Masterpiece THis movie _blew me away_. It is seriously a Masterpiece, and anyone who rates it different is most definitely on an acid trip. That made no sense. I don't care. Miyazaki Hayao is a GOD. A freakin' GOD. He deserves an Order of Merlin, First Class for his expertise in Animation. I'm rambling now. But seriously, go buy this. You owe it to yourself.
