NEWS: New Sailor Moon Stage Musical Delayed to Summer 2020

It's kind of weird we're jumping from two Dark Kingdom shows in a row to doing a new adaptation of Princess Kaguya's Lover. While I enjoy the S movie, I thought the manga version of the story was better, so I'm excited if they make this more faithful to the manga. Though I was hoping we would get a Crystal OVA adaptation of it, especially after they already hinted at Human Luna back in season one. I'm disappointed it won't be out until 2020. Unless by some miracle the Dream Arc movies come out this year, this will be the first year in awhile where we don't have any new Sailor Moon content.

Wow, I forgot that this was going to exist, but I'm so thankful. Sucks that it was pushed back, but the anime movies for SuperS have also been kinda delayed, so maybe they'll come out around the same time?

I wonder if they'll change the cast up too? Either way, my one regret thus far about SeraMyu reboot was that it lacked any side content, but I'm so glad this is happening! Hopefully we get original stuff too, just like the older Myus did.

Call me out for my unpopular opinion, but I found the Kaguya-hime story/S movie to be both the worst/weakest Sailor Moon movie made by Toei Animation and manga story Naoko wrote for the Sailor Moon manga (focuses too much on Luna, the Sailors hardly get to do anything, and in the manga version in the final battle, once again, the Inners are made useless just so the Outers can look better in comparison. And then there's Luna ignoring her future husband and daughter and focusing on Kakeru instead, ugh. The movie's alright but the manga version bored me to tears), so I'm not sure exactly what this musical would bring to the table, except maybe and hopefully use the Sailors more Confused

Or couldn't we just, I dunno, get news for Crystal to see what may be coming from it? Rolling Eyes

As much as I love Luna and Artemis, their relationship is kind of weird when you think about it. It often feels like they're together because they already know they will be in the future but we don't really see that many scenes of romantic chemistry between them in the series.
