Let’s see how this turns out. I’m not sure about the pro sports scene. Pro wrestling events have been going on with some people in attendance. At least with the smaller promotions, there’s been just a little bit of people coming in.

NJPW is going to start up events again. The New Japan Cup will not have any fans in attendance until the finals day and then Dominion, both the finals and Dominion being in Osaka-Jo Hall, with a limited amount of people in attendance.

The pattern has been announcing postponement or cancellation of concerts with at least one month's notice.

With postponement, a later date at the same venue is the usual practice, with ticket holders being able to keep their existing tickets for the new date or obtain a refund if they claim one within the period provided by the postponement announcement.

It is not usually viable for a concert to go ahead with only a fraction of the capacity sold.

So some newly announced small concerts may go ahead this year but not the Saitama Super Arena / Yokohama Arena / Tokyo Dome ... large concerts.
