posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks announced on Monday and Tuesday the English dub casts for its upcoming release of the tsuritama television anime series and the Another television anime series. Sentai FIlmworks will release tsuritama on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on August 20, and will release Another on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on July 30.

The tsuritama cast is as follows:

Adam Gibbs as Yuki Sanada
Clint Bickham as Haru
Corey Hartzog as Natsuki Usami
Josh Grelle as Akira Agarkar Yamada, Tapioca
Maggie Flecknoe as Misaki
Christopher Ayres as Boss
Tiffany Grant as Koko

Additional Voices include Neal Barnes, Kaytha Coker, Justin Doran, Holly Dorsett, Dwayne Jones, Brittney Karbowski, Susan Koozin, Cynthia Martinez, Carli Mosier, Emily Neves, Savannah Ober, Eric Opella, Blake Shepard, and John Swasey.

Additionally, Janice Williams is serving as ADR director.

The story is set on the island of Enoshima in the Shōnan area south of Tokyo, and it follows four idiosyncratic youths: the one-quarter French, uncommunicative high school student Yuki, the fishing enthusiast and self-proclaimed alien Haru, the island native Natsuki, and the mysterious Indian Akira with his constant duck companion Tapioca.

The animation studio A-1 Pictures animated tsuritama. Kenji Nakamura (Ayakashi - Samurai Horror Tales, Mononoke, Kūchū Buranko, C) directed the series, Toshiya Ono (Suite Precure, Eiga Suite Precure: Torimodose! Kokoro ga Tsunagu Kiseki no Melody) handled the series composition, and Yûichi Takahashi (Macross Frontier, Iron Vendetta) adapted Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) characters for animation.

The 12-episode series premiered in Japan last April, and Crunchyroll streamed the series outside of Japan as it aired.

The Another dub cast is as follows:

Monica Rial as Mei Misaki
Greg Ayres as Kouichi Sakakibara
Jessica Boone as Izumi Akizawa
Chris Patton as Naoya Teshigawara
Molly Searcy as Reiko
David Matranga as Mr. Kubodera
Sonja Meadow as Miss Mikami
Josh Grelle as Tomahiko Kazami
Brittney Karbowski as Sakuragi Yukari
Blake Shepard as Ikou Takabayshi
Margaret McDonald as Aya Ayano
Carli Mosier as Sanae Mizuno
Marcy Bannor as Tamie
Carl Masterson as Ryouhei
Christopher Ayres as Yousuke
Tiffany Grant as Bird

Additional voices include: Hayley Adams, Christopher Ayres, Maggie Flecknoe, Tiffany Grant, Houston Hayes, Brittney Karbowski, Mark X Laskowski, Connor Leach, Margaret McDonald, Carli Mosier, Savannah Ober, and Tiffany Terrell. Christopher Ayres is serving as ADR director.

The television anime adaptation of Yukito Ayatsuji's Another horror novel centers around a school class that has a curse, and the string of unavoidable deaths that befall the boys and girls in that class. Another debuted in January 2012 in Japan with character designs by Noizi Ito (Haruhi Suzumiya, Shakugan no Shana). Tsutomu Mizushima (Blood-C, XXXHOLiC) directed the anime at the studio P.A. Works. Ryou Higaki (Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit) was in charge of the scripts, and Yuriko Ishii (Persona -trinity soul-) adapted Ito's designs for animation. ALI PROJECT and Annabel performed Another's opening and ending theme songs.

Crunchyroll streamed the 12-episode series as it aired.

Update: Janice Williams is serving as ADR director for tsuritama, not Christopher Ayres. Thanks, chronoclast.
