North Carolina's Animazement to Host Studio Trigger's Animators

North Carolina anime convention Animazement announced Tuesday that it will host three animators from Japan's Studio Trigger (Little Witch Academia, Kill la Kill, Inferno Cop) on May 23-25. Director Yoh Yoshinari (pictured at right), art director Yuji Kaneko, and animator Takafumi Hori will attend the convention, which takes place in Raleigh at the Raleigh Convention Center.
Yoshinari directed Little Witch Academia and also worked as the set designer of Kill la Kill. He has worked on many other anime features, television series, and OVAs including Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, Cat Soup, and Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Yuji Kaneko, the art director of Little Witch Academia and Kill la Kill, has also worked on numerous fan favorites such as Naruto Shippūden, Basilisk, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Takafumi Hori, animator of Little Witch Academia and Kill la Kill, has worked on award-winning animated features such as Metropolis, Summer Wars, and Redline.
Animazement also announced that voice actress Lauren Landa (Redline, Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians, Madoka Magica) will attend the convention.
