EternalDragonWarrior's Anime

take a look at EternalDragonWarrior's Manga
Movies/OVAs/Short Series Rating Comment
5 Centimeters Per Second (movie) Masterpiece "Masterpiece - Exquisite beyond words" No words I type here can do justice to how good this movie really is. Don't even think twice, just watch it; it's touching, realistic, and downright beautiful.
Akira (movie) Excellent Now this was one awesome movie, definitely worthy of it's fame. With an epic story and tons of suspense, this definitely isn't one I'll be forgetting for a while; I normally prefer watching anime that require thinking over random fighting, but the action and intensity of Akira was just that good.
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (TV) Good
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Second (OAV) Good
Cannon Fodder (movie) So-so
Castle in the Sky (movie) Decent
Dojin Work (TV) Very good An excellent otaku-targeted comedy; provides almost the same level of XD as Genshiken.
Fighting Fairy Girl Rescue Me Mave-chan (OAV) Good
Final Examination Kujira (ONA) So-so
FLCL (OAV) Excellent Some might hate it for being so incredibly weird, some might love it because of that; for me, it was just right.
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie) Excellent A solid romance; it's not too melodramatic, but it still maintains a great plot throughout.
Grave of the Fireflies (movie) Excellent I'm not much of a Ghibli fan, but this was definitely one of their best. Although, I would have to say that it's a bit overrated in the depressingness department *remembers 5 cm Per Second and Air TV*
Gunbuster (OAV) Good
Gunbuster 2: Diebuster (OAV) Very good
Hotori - Tada Saiwai o Koinegau (special) Very good
Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu (OAV) Very good Basically, 4 eps of FMP! and 2 eps of Saikano. While I can't really say that it affected me emotionally in any way, it was still a fun short series, and it probably could have made a solid 13 episodes.
Itsudatte My Santa! (OAV) Very good Signature Ken Akamatsu comedy and randomness. Great watch right before Christmas.
Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade (movie) Excellent War, politics, and drama; there's nothing this movie didn't do right. Not to mention the fact that the ending leaves you with your mouth gaping.
Looking Up At The Half-Moon (TV) Very good
Magnetic Rose (movie) Good
Metropolis (movie) So-so
Millennium Actress (movie) Excellent Romance/drama with a twist, I suppose; it's unique, yet still gives you everything you expect.
Momo: The Girl God of Death (TV) Decent
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (movie) Decent
Otaku no Video (OAV) Good Decent parody of otaku culture, though a bit outdated. If you're into stuff like this, do yourself a favor and watch Genshiken.
Paprika (movie) Very good
Perfect Blue (movie) Masterpiece Reality or illusion? Who really knows with Perfect Blue - but as creepy and messed up as it was, it was also an ingenious psychological thriller, and as far as I'm concerned it's Satoshi Kon's best.
(The) Place Promised in Our Early Days (movie) Excellent I'm a Makoto Shinkai fan, so it's no wonder I loved this one.
Princess Mononoke (movie) Good
REC (TV) Good An entertaining way to spend a couple of hours.
Spirited Away (movie) Very good All of the creativity that you always see in Ghibli films, though this one felt different somehow. Different in a good way.
Steamboy (movie) Good
Stink Bomb (movie) So-so
_Summer (OAV) Decent
Tokyo Godfathers (movie) Very good
Tokyo Marble Chocolate (OAV) Good
Voices of a Distant Star (OAV) Excellent Like with his Shinkai's other movies, the surreal art and delicate plot make for a shockingly touching experience.
