It's about time this manga reaches its ending. That's not to say I've gotten tired of of it--it's interesting and intriguing to read Sadamoto's execution of the story, especially with the current End of Eva arc. It's just been drawn out long enough and needs a conclusion, and I'm all the more excited in finding out what the manga's conclusion will be like. Mayhaps we'll even get another simultaneous release courtesy of Viz? We'll just wait and see.

Splendid news. I love the treatment Sadamoto has given to NGE in his manga version and knowing that it will finally conclude fills me with trepidation.
Now if only Kentaro Miura could take a similar determination with Berserk... |

Just found something about it. It looks like spoiler[the ending will be a bit different from the one from End of Evangelion as it shows Shinji with a moer positive mind.] I hope they explain what was with that with weird Asuka appearance from EOE who had bandages and a different eye color.

well regarding asukas appearance in the last few minutes of end of evangelion, take into account that there are temporal shifts here and there but there was one here, notice that there is a small wooden plank with misatos cross nailed onto it, the nail was a bit rusty, that indicates that some time has passed sense it was placed there, ofcourse we dont see shinji do this but he was the last person with misatos necklace..... you can guess that some time has passed on this beach for both shinji and asuka. and I think the reason asuka's colors were varied here was due to the lighting of the rest of the enviornment, I believe primarily to depict mood...... though shinji's color pallate wasant changed much... eh im sure there are a ton of discusion threads over this on evageeks.com. |

and the manga, so it will end on volume 14 then? lets hope sadamoto gives us something good, I dont think it will be anything as cryptic and end of evangelion but lets hope its memorable at least.

It takes anywhere from a year to a year and a half between volumes; how could they tell he was on hiatus in the first place?
Still looking forward to it though. Been a fan of the manga for... well, a long time. |
