Not sure if you can do about this, but is there any chance of getting an indicator in the forum view section that indicates if you posted in a thread or not? I have seen them on other boards and I have found them to be very useful on busy boards, especially when you can't check the board for replies every day.
If you are familiar with Invasion Power Board, or vBulletin you should know what I am talking about. If not let me know and I will try to elaborate some more. |

Why not just check the box when replying to a post that says "Notify me when a reply is posted" I guess that's the closest you can get, it's pretty helpful.

well there is the search funtion that you could use to find all your posts and it would say in which thread you posted it in.

Well the big reasons are:
1) Most of the automatically generated emails I receive are flagged as spam by my filter 2) Sometimes I go for about two or more weeks before I get a chance to check the site again - searching can case problems 3) vBulletin boards use it and I have grown so use to it on one that I admin that it feels weird not to see it 4) I have never heard of someone complaining about them when they were enabled
