Fun fact: Ted was the number one film at the Japanese box office for the first half of 2013, until it was overtaken by Monsters University and The Wind Rises. I love that Seth MacFarlane's Ted has earned more in Japan than every live-action summer "tentpole" from Hollywood this year (excluding ones yet to be released in Japan like Man of Steel).

Why do the Japanese like Seth so much? Most Americans hate his guts and his shittier versions of good shows. He can't voice act(shoot me), he can't write, he can't direct, he can't do anything. -_- As much gripes as I have with live action dubbing, I hope Ted was dubbed in theaters. It's probably better than the English version.

I thought Ted was pretty damn funny myself. You do realize Japan's probably saying the same thing about us, as evidenced by the Little Witch Academia debacle.
