Exclusive: Danganronpa English Dub Clip Previews Unaired Director's Cut

FUNimation Entertainment told ANN on Tuesday that it will screen the English dub premiere of the Danganronpa anime in three US events over Halloween weekend: Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles (time to be determined), Youmacon in Detroit on October 30, and OniCon in Galveston, Texas on October 31.
To accompany the announcement, Funimation began streaming an English dub clip of the unaired director's cut of the 13th episode, which includes 10 minutes of extra footage. The clip includes spoilers for the series.
Funimation will release the full series on regular and limited edition Blu-ray/DVD combo packs on November 10.
The English dub cast, under ADR Director Christopher Bevins and writer J. Michael Tatum, includes:

- Bryce Papenbrook as Makoto Naegi
- Felecia Angelle as Aoi Asahina
- Lindsay Seidel as Celestia Ludenwerg
- Jamie Marchi as Junko Enoshima

Only Papenbrook is reprising his role from the English dub of the game.
Funimation streamed the series based on Spike Chunsoft's PlayStation Portable/PlayStation Vita game as it aired in Japan in Summer 2013, and describes the story:
Hope's Peak Academy is an exclusive private school that only accepts the best of the best. Graduates of this elite – yet enigmatic – institution have the world at their fingertips, but getting a cap and gown is easier said than done. The hallowed halls are ruled by the sadistic administrator Monobear, who declares that the only way to pass the class is by sending a fellow student home in a body bag. If you can get away with murder, you'll get your diploma. But if you're caught red handed, you'll find yourself on the receiving end of a deadly detention slip!
