MYTH&ROID, Rie Takahashi Perform Theme Songs for Isekai Cheat Magician Anime (Updated)

MYTH&ROID vocalist KIHOW announced on Twitter on Monday that the group will perform the opening theme song "Panta Rhei" for the television anime of Takeru Uchida's Isekai Cheat Magician (Fantasy World Cheat Magician) novel series.
The single CD for the song is slated to ship on July 24. MYTH&ROID have previously performed theme songs for all three seasons of Overlord, The Saga of Tanya the Evil film and television series, and Re:Zero, among others.
The anime will premiere in July, and stars:
- Kōhei Amasaki as Taichi Nishimura
- Rie Takahashi as Rin Azuma
- Minami Tanaka as Muller
- Sayaka Ōhara as Lemia
- Yurika Kubo as Aerial
Daisuke Tsukushi (episode director on Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - The Animation, Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory, Girly Air Force) is making his series directorial debut with the anime, and Encourage Films is animating the series. Takayo Ikami (Penguindrum, Yuri Kuma Arashi, Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-) is in charge of the series scripts. Shuji Maruyama (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) is designing the characters. Yoshiaki Fujisawa (The Eccentric Family, Love Live! School idol project, A Place Further Than the Universe) is composing the music.
The story centers on Taichi Nishimura and his friend Rin Azuma, who both get transported into a fantasy world. While in their previous world, Taichi is a normal person who just has higher than average reflexes, both he and Rin gain high levels of physical and magical ability, and begin their new life as magicians.
