Aniplus Asia Airs Simulcast of The Promised Neverland Season 2, Back Arrow Anime

Aniplus-Asia announced last week and on Monday that it will air a simulcast of the second season of The Promised Neverland anime, as well as the Back Arrow original anime.
The Promised Neverland season two simulcast will premiere on January 8 at 2:40 a.m. GMT +8.
Mamoru Kanbe is returning as director from the previous season for CloverWorks. Toshiya Ono is also back to supervise the series scripts, and is joined by original manga writer Kaiu Shirai for the second season. Shirai is supervising an original scenario that will appear in the second season. Kazuaki Shimada is returning as character designer and chief animation director. Takahiro Obata is returning as composer, with Katsunori Shimizu as sound director. Kiro Akiyama will perform the second season's opening theme song "Identity." Myuk will perform the second season's ending theme song "Mahō" (Magic). Eve (Jujutsu Kaisen opening) contributed to the music in the song.
Shin'ichirō Kamio joins the cast as the new character Sonju, while Atsumi Tanezaki joins as Mujika. The rest of the cast return from the previous season.
The second season was scheduled to premiere in October, but was delayed to January 2021 due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the production.
The first season of the anime premiered in January 2019. Aniplus-Asia aired a simulcast of the first season as it aired in Japan.
The simulcast for Back Arrow will premiere on January 8 at 12:30 a.m. GMT +8.

Ringarindo is a land surrounded by a wall. The wall covers, protects, cultivates, and nutures this land. The wall is god ... it is the foundation of this land of Ringarindo.
One day, a mysterious man named Back Arrow appears in Essha village on the outskirts of Ringarindo. Arrow lost his memories, but says that all he knows is, "I came from beyond the wall." To restore his memories, Arrow heads out beyond the wall, but is embroiled in a battle with himself as the stakes.
Yūki Kaji stars as the titular character Back Arrow, a mysterious man who is said to come from beyond the wall.
Director Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass) and writer Kazuki Nakashima (Promare, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill) are collaborating with Aniplex on the project. Studio VOLN is animating the series. Nakashima is not only credited for series composition, but he is also writing the scripts for every episode himself. Toshiyuki Kanno is adapting Shinobu Ohtaka's original character designs for animation and also serving as chief animation director. Kōhei Tanaka is composing the music.
