| Bleach (TV) | Good | A shounen anime about shinigami (or as Viz translates it 'soul reapers') that battle these evil ghosts called "Hollows". It's better paced and doesn't drag out as much as Naruto. |

| Fushigi Yugi Eikoden (OAV) | Awful | Once again, the female leads are so weak that it really annoys the feminist in me. Plus, Tatsuki and Chichiri are so out of charcter in this OAV. It reminds me of a badly written fanfiction. |

| NANA (TV) | Excellent | A great story of 2 girls who share the same name but have very different lives. I love how two very different people can live and learn from each other. One of the best anime I've seen. |
| Naruto (TV) | Good | A fun anime to get into. I always tell people to have patience when watching it because it tends to drag alot in some episodes. |

| Peach Girl (TV) | So-so | The art is totally different from the manga so it was kinda hard to figure out who's who. This caused too much distraction for me. |

| Ranma ½ (TV 1/1989) | Very good | My first anime. It made me laugh as a kid. Sadly it gets repetitive later on but I still love it nonetheless. |

| Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (movie) | So-so | It's alot of action and very little story. I loved FF7 but SquareEnix seems like they're just trying to milk this game for all its worth. |
| Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (US CG movie) | So-so | On its own then it's alright but it lacked the great qualities you'd usually find in a Final Fantasy game: well developed characters, chocobos, moogles, and having an interactive role in the story. |
| Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) | Good | Tohru has this amazing ability to win people over. Even the mysterious Sohma family but the ending of this anime is very unsatisfying as it fails to delve deeper into the Sohma family. |

| Fushigi Yugi (TV) | Good | It's been described as soap opera-ish and I would agree. The main problem of this anime is that the female characters are very weak. |
| Honey and Clover (TV) | Excellent | I can relate so much to this slice of life anime since I am in college myself. It tackles many issues that alot of young adults face yet there is plenty of humor to balance it out. |

| Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow | Weak | The only thing I liked about this movie was that Sakura is alot stronger and more reliable than she normally is in canon. |
| Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) | Good | It's been so long since I've seen the anime but it took away my feelings about anime being kiddy cartoons. |

| Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection (OAV) | Bad | The characterization of Kenshin was not believable to me. He seemed to be broken in spirit throughout this OAV. This is not the Kenshin I knew from the anime. |

| Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal (OAV) | Good | You'll will get to see Kenshin's orgins as the Battousai. It's very serious and very dark but it's great to see his actual past and compare his old self in this oav to his new self in the anime. |
