| Death Note (TV) | Excellent | I usually strive to watch a more uplifting anime by choice, however, Death Note appeals to my other favorite in movies. The battle-of-the-minds in this series is the best yet and it kept me choosing sides until late in the show. Most of the popular anime such as this i pick up just to say i have watched it and be able to give me opinion on it, but Death Note is one that i can truly understand why it is so popular. |

Based upon choosing and following your dreams throughout all hardships, this shows theme is one that is a repeat, and will be repeated by many others. What makes this one special for me is that it comes from a very young boy who never lets anything stop him from the pursuit of that which he strives to become. |

While being a fairly straightforward love story this anime has a fair few twists that make it unpredictable as a whole. With the characters personalities changing throughout the story, this anime kept me wanting to see the next episode constantly. |

| xxxHOLiC (TV) | Very good | Personally, i hate the idea of fate and the idea of preordained lives, but i also do not rule out a possibility for the shear fact that 'i don't like it.' With this anime i was shown how fate would play into the day to day life in a way that i wasn't utterly repulsed by it. The main character may been annoying for me to listen to a few times, all in all he acted of his own volition, even if it happened to be the path fate chose. |
