posted on by Adriana Hazra

The 12-episode anime premiered on TBS in January 2020.
Tokyopop is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:
When it comes to idol group Cham Jam, Eripiyo is the oldest ― and perhaps only ― fan of Maina Ichii. Despite Eripiyo's enthusiastic support, Maina is the least popular member of the group, but that doesn't deter Eripiyo, even though she spends so much of her money that she only has a single outfit of her own. But her love for Maina doesn't waver, even if she knows she might never be noticed for it!
Yūsuke Yamamoto (Encouragement of Climb, Aquarion Evol) directed the series at 8-Bit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Comet Lucifer). Deko Akao (After the Rain, Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future) was in charge of series scripts. Tomoyuki Shitaya (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Sagrada Reset) and Masaru Yonezawa (chief animation director for The Eden of Grisaia, Valkyria Chronicles) designed the characters. Moe Hyūga (O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Steins;Gate 0) composed the music.
ChamJam performed the opening theme song "Clover wish." Ai Fairouz performed the ending theme song "♡Momoiro Kataomoi♡" (Peach-Colored Unrequited Love).
Hirao launched the manga in the Monthly Comic Ryū magazine in 2015, and the series ended earlier this month. The 12th and final volume shipped on December 12.
The series ranked on the top 20 list of manga for male readers in Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook in 2016.
