Ani-One Asia Streams 'There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her', 'Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You' Season 2 Anime

Ani-One Asia announced on Thursday and Friday that it will stream the There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her anime, and the second season of the Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You anime.

Ani-One Asia will begin streaming the television anime adaptation of Suisei's Yūsha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Itanode, Kokuhaku Shite Mita (There Was a Cute Girl in the Hero's Party, So I Tried Confessing to Her) light novel series and Kairi's manga adaptation on January 6 at 10:00 p.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available in Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Reincarnated as a mid-tier demon, Yoki had one job: Crush the hero's party. Then he saw the party's priestess, Cecilia, and fell for her hard. Now this lovestruck demon vows to confess his feelings, even if it means betraying the Demon King. Will love bloom between these two sworn enemies?

Kairi's manga adaptation is what is credited for the original work.

Yasutaka Yamamoto (Medalist, Servant × Service) is the chief director, and Tomonori Mine (Isekai Onsen Paradise) is directing the series at Gekkō. Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, No Guns Life) is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Mina Ōsawa (The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest, Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits) is adapting illustrator La-na's character designs for animation. Satoru Kōsaki (BEASTARS, The Apothecary Diaries) and MONACA are composing the music. Ryō Aizawa is the producer at Starry Cube.

Ani-One Asia will begin streaming the second season of the television anime of Haruka Mitsui's Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You (Dōse, Koishite Shimaunda. or KoiShima) manga on January 9 at 1:00 a.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available in Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, North Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

On July 1, 2020, Mizuho found herself facing the worst seventeenth birthday ever. Dashed hopes with her admired older student, and her parents forgot that it was her birthday. Even worse, an unknown infectious disease caused her club tournaments and school trips to be cancelled. She is convinced that she'll never have the dazzling youth that she's dreamed of... but then her childhood friend, Kizuki, suddenly declares himself a candidate to be her boyfriend. This is a school romance story about Mizuho Nishino her romantic entanglements with her four childhood friends who grew up like family.


Mayuko Kazama joins the cast for the second season as Kuroda, who was a classmate of Shin's when he was at university and who has had feelings for Shin since then.

First season director Junichi Yamamoto is returning to direct the second season at Typhoon Graphics. Yū Murai is also returning to oversee the series scripts.

The band berry meet will perform the ending theme song "Hatsukoi" (First Love).

The anime's first season premiered on TBS on January 9. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Junichi Yamamoto (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers; Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen) directed the first season, and Typhoon Graphics produced the anime. Yū Murai (Haigakura) and Nagisa Nario supervised and wrote the series scripts, Io Shiiba designed the characters, and Katsuzō Hirata (Angel Beats! character design) and Suzuna Okuyama (A Certain Magical Index II key animator) were the sub-character designers. Keiji Inai (all five seasons of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) composed the music.
