Ani-One Asia Streams You and I Are Polar Opposites Anime, 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess Season 2 in India

Ani-One Asia announced on YouTube that the channel will stream the television anime of Kōcha Agasawa's romantic comedy manga You and I Are Polar Opposites (Seihantaina Kimi to Boku) in India on January 11 and will begin streaming the second season of the television anime of Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei's Tis Time for "Torture," Princess (Hime-sama, "Gōmon" no Jikan Desu) manga on January 12.
The channel began streaming the second season of the television anime of Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court's My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) manga on Monday.
You and I Are Polar Opposites and the second season of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes are streaming on Crunchyroll as well. The latter is also streaming on Anime Times and JioHotstar.
You and I Are Polar Opposites will debut on January 11 on MBS, TBS, and their affiliates, and will air on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. JST. The series will stream on ABEMA in Japan at 5:30 p.m. JST on Sundays.
Takakazu Nagatomo is directing the anime at Lapin Track. Teruko Utsumi (Sarazanmai) is writing the scripts and is also serving as animation producer. Mako Miyako is designing the characters. Naho Kozono (Golden Kamuy) is the sub-character designer, and is also the chief animation director, along with Sayuri Sakimoto (Orient). The musician tofubeats is composing the music.
Chieko Nakamura (Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence) is directing the art. Tomoyuki Shiokawa (The Promised Neverland) is the compositing director of photography. Yuki Akimoto (SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary) is the color key artist. Yuushi Koshida (My Happy Marriage) is serving as 3D director. Masayuki Kurosawa (Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez) is editing. Wataru Osakabe (Pompo: The Cinéphile) is handling 2D design. SHOCHIKU anime is overseeing the production.
noa performs the opening theme song "Lose the Frames" ("Megane wo Hazushite"). PAS TASTA performs the ending theme song "Pure feat. Eriko Hashimoto."

Agasawa launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform in May 2022. The manga originally launched as a one-shot on the website in January 2021. The manga ended in November 2024. Shueisha shipped the eighth and final compiled book volume in March 2025. Viz Media also publishes the series in English.
Mutsumi Tamura joins the cast as Sakura Heartrock. The new cast also includes Yukari Tamura as Hamu-chan and Tomokazu Sugita as Penta.
South Korean girl group ILLIT will perform the anime's opening theme song "Sunday Morning," and Japanese singer-songwriter Yuika will perform the ending theme song "Ohime-sama ni wa Narenai" (I Can't Become a Princess).
The first season premiered in January 2024 on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels. The anime also streamed on the ABEMA streaming service. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in India. The first season had 12 episodes.
Yōko Kanamori (The Ancient Magus' Bride, Attack on Titan episode director) directed the anime at PINE JAM, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Dropkick on My Devil!, In the Land of Leadale) was in charge of the series scripts. Toshiya Kōno (Schwarzes Marken sub-character designs) and Satoshi Furuhashi (Comet Lucifer prop design assistance) designed the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama (Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) composed the music.
Publisher Shueisha describes that the manga's story is about "a princess held captive, subjected to merciless tortures by the Hellhorde!"
Haruhara (Senyū.) launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ service in Japan in April 2019. Shueisha's MANGA Plus service began offering the manga English that October. The manga went on hiatus in early December 2024 so Haruhara could focus on their health, and returned later that month. The manga ended on August 19. The manga's 19th and final volume shipped on January 5.
