I'm not a big fan of the "artsy" styles of animation in some of these shorts. It's also difficult to tell what some of them have to do with The Matrix. I did like a couple though, like "Final Flight of the Osiris" and the two part one that explains the whole war with the machines. |

I couldn't bring myself to rate this one. Nostalgia kinda gets in the way. I know I would cry bloody murder if something like Robotech were done in this day and age. It's basically a hack job. Terrible voice acting too. But I love it anyway. I highly recommend the Protoculture collection if you have nostalgia for Robotech. If not, you should probably avoid it and get Macross instead. |

There's alot to love about this series, but it's full of inconsistencies, plot holes, and a lack of proper backstory. Don't get me wrong, because I still enjoyed it! But I had to dock it's rating because of these flaws. I want to read the manga. Hopefully it'll help fill in the holes. |

This should have been a lot longer. How can you call something a half hour long a movie?! It seems to try to stuff a full movie's plot into that half hour, like they had a script all written but then were told they only had the budget for 30 minutes of animation. It's a shame, really because I love Tsubasa and a "real" Tsubasa movie would be wonderful. Good thing it comes with the briliant XXXHolic movie. |

Once again, nostalgia gets in the way of me giving this a true rating. I recall seeing it later on and noticing that the voice acting was horrible. Also, it is apparently altered quite a bit from the original Japanese show GoLion. Man, though, back in the day, Voltron was the COOLEST! |
