The OVAs were good, as far as continuing the story as the manga did, but too short in my opinion. I didn't see a need for the 1st OVA and the rest of it was rushed. I think it could have been better if the OVA was made longer, thus expanding on the story.
This is worth seeing if you're a HUGE Fushigi Yuugi fan (like me). You get to see your favorite characters all grown up (or in some cases as cute little kids). However, if you aren't into FY as much, you aren't missing much. The story is rather short and almost pointless.
This is a really good show. It has a real "cool" feel to it. It's really addictive and the characters are very cool. I love the look and of course the vampires. The ending however is a bit lacking and unexplained, but I guess that'll just draw me to the manga even more!
Great series. A really good follow up to the original. I love the "Welcome to Lodoss Island" bits at the end of each episode. They kind of make you feel good after taking in such a serious anime. The original Lodoss really needed something like that.
While the anime is great looking enough that I imagine it'll be most people's preference for experiencing this series, the manga has just enough of its own strengths to be worth checking out on its own.― With the new Yaiba anime currently on air, and quickly proving to be one of the most impressive looking action shows of the year, the folks at Viz Media have also seen fit to release the original ma...

7th Prince has some cool ideas that I desperately wish it pursued to any meaningful extent. But instead, we got a royal snooze fest.― I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability (henceforth 7th Prince) is an anime that, on paper, sounds cool and, dare I say, relatable enough. I mean, if we were all fortunate enough to be reincarnated into wealth and power...

The first season of the story of Oguri Cap stands apart from its previous Uma Musume brethren—and arguably stands above many of them.― Every great hero deserves an origin story, and that even—especially!—includes the funny big-eating horse girl Oguri Cap from Uma Musume. This obviously isn't the only franchise where a comic-relief background character can undergo this kind of drastic promotion to pr...
Hanakage Alt’s Senpai no Kohai is, in its slender volume, a beautifully sweet love story.― Sayuri knows that it's hopeless to fall in love with a straight woman. That's an academic consideration, of course, when in her final year of college, she fell head over heels for Risa. The adorable first year consumed all of Sayuri's thoughts, no matter how hard she tried to avoid them, and when she graduated...
