Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life, Rich Girl Caretaker, More Anime to Stream in India

Crunchyroll announced on Sunday that it will stream the following anime in India in July 2026:
Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life will debut in July.
Seven Seas Entertainment announced in December it will release the manga in English in omnibus format. The first volume will ship in October 2026. The company describes the story:
Narukami Ryusei is your typical NEET. He spends his days shut in his room playing video games without a care in the world, living a lazy life. But the truth is, Ryusei used to be a powerful demon king in another world! So why not spend this new life doing whatever he wants? Except, he wasn't the only one reincarnated into this world. The hero who struck him down is here too—and she's a really cute high school girl?! Can Ryusei survive reuniting with his foe in a new world, or will he find himself fighting even in this life?
Hikawa (Pani Poni manga creator; character designer for Concrete Revolutio anime) launched the manga in Kodansha's Morning two magazine in August 2021. Kodansha published the manga's first compiled book volume in February 2022, and released the ninth volume on March 23.
Shūsei Morishita (School Babysitters) is directing the anime at Brains Base. Aya Yoshinaga (Project ARMS; Crest of the Stars; Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!) is overseeing the series scripts, and Nao Kawashima (Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power; Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream) is designing the characters. Takeshi Takadera (Laid-Back Camp, Oshi no Ko, To Your Eternity) is the sound director. Composers include Natsumi Tabuchi (Aggretsuko, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!), Hanae Nakamura (The Quintessential Quintuplets, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!), and Mayo Kurihara (Hell Mode).
Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko label published the first novel volume in May 2021, and published the 11th volume on October 31.
Sorahiko Mizushima launched an ongoing manga adaptation on Hobby Japan's Fire Cross website in September 2021. Hobby Japan published the fifth volume on December 1.
Katsumi Ono returns to direct the second season at Aura Studio. Character designer Tōru Imanishi, monster designer Yoshihiro Nagamori, and sound director Satoshi Motoyama all return for the second season.
Toshizo Nemoto (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime fourth season, Inu X Boku Secret Service) is now in charge of series scripts, replacing Takeshi Kikuchi. First season sub-character designer Hideki Inoue is replaced by Chisa Shibata (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life, Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy), and Jia Fang Lu (My Clueless First Friend) replaces art director Kenta Tsuboi. Other new staff includes color key artist Harue Ono (MAD BOX, replacing Chiho Nakamura), CGI director Tomotaka Aoki (Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3), and animation producer Yasuhiro Uema.
Ennki Hakari launched the novels on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's be Novelists) website in October 2014, and Overlap published the first volume with illustrations by KeG in June 2015, and the the 10th volume in March 2022. Seven Seas shipped the 10th volume in April 2023.
Akira Sawano (A Bridge to the Starry Skies character design) launched the ongoing manga adaptation on Overlap's Comic Gardo website in February 2017. Overlap shipped the 14th volume in June 2025 and Seven Seas shipped the 14th volume on March 24.
Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You will have a limited advance streaming on the ABEMA streaming service in Japan in June. The anime willl premiere on TBS and 27 other channels in July and will air every Thursday at 11:56 p.m. JST.
Tadato Suzuki and (Gushing Over Magical Girls) and Aoi Mori (Gushing Over Magical Girls, Teogonia episode director) are directing the anime at Asahi Production. Mio Inoue (A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace, My Awkward Senpai) is in charge of series scripts, and Yasuka Ōtaki (Gushing Over Magical Girls, A Galaxy Next Door) is designing the characters. Shin Kōno (Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, Arte, Revenger theme song arrangement) and Sayaka Aoki (I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss, Girlfriend, Girlfriend, The Water Magician) are composing the music, and Kōhei Yoshida (Dark Gathering, Killed Again, Mr. Detective?, A Star Brighter Than the Sun) is the sound director.
Jinushi launched the manga on X/Twitter in March 2022, and the series then began serialization in Square Enix's Big Gangan magazine in August 2022. Square Enix shipped the eighth compiled book volume of the manga on January 23.
Square Enix Manga & Books began releasing the manga in English in February 2024. The company willl ship the manga's seventh volume on July 7. Comikey also began releasing the manga in English digitally in May 2023. The manga is also available in English on BookWalker.
The manga won eighth place in the 16th Manga Taisho awards in 2023.
