Muse Asia Streams 'Always a Catch!', Candy Caries, More Anime in India

Muse Asia announced on Thursday that it will stream the following anime in India as part of its spring 2026 lineup:

• The fourth Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- anime season.
  
  
• The second season of the television anime of Tenichi and Suzunosuke's The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior (Higeki no Genkyō to naru Saikyō Gedō Last Boss Joō wa Min no tame ni Tsukushimasu.) light novel series.
  
  
• The television anime of Mayo Momoyo's Always a Catch! (Nigashita Sakana wa Ōkikatta ga Tsuriageta Sakana ga Ōkisugita Ken) light novel series.
  
  
• Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season, the sequel to the 2019-2020 anime of Yūji Terajima's Ace of Diamond Act II (Daiya no A Act II) manga.
  
  
• Tomoki Misato and Wit Studio's original television anime Candy Caries.

The lineup also includes anime titles previously announced to be streaming on Crunchyroll in India:

• The fourth season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) television anime
  
  

• The Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 (Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e 4th Season 2-nen Sei Hen 1 Gakki) anime.
  
  

• The television anime of Yuhiro Tsujitsugu's Snowball Earth manga.

The new Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- season will consist of 19 episodes divided into two arcs. The season will debut with "The Loss Arc" on April 8. Then, "The Recapture Arc" will begin on August 12. 

New cast members include Fairouz Ai, who will play the new character Shaula and Tomokazu Sugita, who will voice the new character Reid Astrea.

Konomi Suzuki and American rapper Ashnikko perform the opening theme song "Recollect." Giga & TeddyLoid produced the song. MYTH&ROID and TK from Ling Tosite Sigure perform the ending theme song "Ender Ember."

The new season of The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior will debut on April 7 on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. JST (9:00 a.m. EDT), and on BS11 at 24:00 JST and MBS at 26:30 JST (effectively April 8 at 12 midnight, 2:30 a.m., respectively).

Previously announced new cast members include Shinnosuke Tachibana as Leon, Hikaru Midorikawa as Cedric, and Ryōta Suzuki as Harrison.

Norio Nitta (Kami-sama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama) returns from the first season to direct the new season at OLM Team Yoshioka. Deko Akao (Pokémon: Journeys, Noragami) is still in charge of the series scripts. Hitomi Kōno is also back to design the characters. Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Junko Nakajima are still credited for composing the music, but this time with Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka and Kaho Sawada. Retroriron is performing the anime's opening theme song "Ego,"and Garakuta is performing the ending theme song "Tarareba." 

Always a Catch! debuted on April 1 on Tokyo MX and BS11 at 24:00 JST (effectively April 2 at 12 midnight).

Akira Oguro (Giant Beasts of Ars, Namu Amida Butsu! -Rendai Utena-) is directing the anime at TROYCA. Michiko Yokote (Ao-chan Can't Study!, Call of the Night) is in charge of series scripts and Isamu Suzuki (Shinobi no Ittoki) is designing the characters. HoneyWorks feat. Airi Suzuki perform the "Chikai wa Kyun to." opening theme song.

Ace of Diamond Act II Second Season will air on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, and also on AT-X. The main cast is returning for the new season.

Hideaki Ōba (Kunon the Sorcerer Can See, I'm in Love with the Villainess, Love of Kill) is the new director, replacing Mitsuyuki Masuhara, at OLM (Madhouse animated Ace of Diamond Act II). Kenji Konuta is returning from the previous three anime in the franchise to oversee the series scripts. Yasukazu Shōji (Major 2nd chief animation director, Restaurant to Another World (TV 2) character designer) is the new character designer, replacing Minoru Ueda and Satoshi Tasaki. Hajime Hyakkoku is returning from Ace of Diamond Act II to compose the music.

Terajima's original Ace of Diamond baseball manga inspired a television anime that premiered in 2013. Ace of Diamond: Second Season premiered in April 2015.

Candy Caries will premiere within the Yoru no Brunch variety program in Japan on April 15.

Misato (Pui Pui Molcar) and Wit Studio are credited for the original work. Misato will direct the series at TORUKU from WIT STUDIO. Kenshirō Morii (Anime-Gataris, Grand Blues!) will serve as assistant director. Chiaki Nishinaka (The Ancient Magus' Bride, Shinkalion Change the World) will write the script and Akari Saitō (Etotama, Spy×Family) will edit the series. Keigo Hoashi (Summer Time Rendering, Dusk maiden of Amnesia) will compose the music. Japanese girl group IS:SUE performs the anime's theme song "Telepathy."

Candy Caries was first revealed as a stop-motion anime promotional video in 2021 after Wit Studio had established a stop-motion studio with Misato in December 2020.

The Candy Caries anime is a slapstick comedy about Ame, a child who loves sweets, and the tooth decay that lives in her mouth called Caries. Caries lives a carefree life inside Ame's mouth and even calls her "Mama," and Ame's body is always at Caries' mercy.

According to Misato, he used plastic board and acrylic for Candy Caries, and describes it as a semi three-dimensional animation that's "flat like an illustration, but plump and thick."
