Death Note (live-action movie) Decent
Death Note (TV) Masterpiece This show is recommended for pretty much anyone, especially those who like to think about whether a vigilante has the right to do what he wants or not *Spoiler alert* Yagami Light is a champ. Honestly, the main character brings the world to its knees with the titular Artifact of Doom, without the world knowing who is Kira. He had enough charisma and charm to keep many viewer's to cheer for him as he kills off criminals and innocent people who happened to get in his way, and his rival L. I don't really consider either Near or Mello to be his equal, which is probably why the second arc of the show felt like it was dragging on, and with Light being the champ he is, his downfall not even being his fault.
Death Note: The Last Name (live-action movie) So-so
(The) Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (movie) Masterpiece
Dragon Ball (TV) Masterpiece A hilarious mid-late 80s action comedy from Toriyama Akira, Dragon Ball is the wonderful tale of Son Goku's youth, and is one of the animés where the character grows a lot in every way through the series, such as him aging from age 12 to 18, learning his signature moves, meeting the friends that he has for the rest of his life, and more. Toriyama's distinctive style in this series is very well suited for all the characters as well.
Eden of the East (TV) Masterpiece
Eden of the East: Paradise Lost (movie) Excellent
Eden of the East: The King of Eden (movie) Masterpiece
ef: a tale of memories (TV) Masterpiece
Elfen Lied (TV) Masterpiece Extremely gruesome, violent, gory, yet still toned down from the manga, and sadly this series doesn't go to the end of the manga.

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV) Excellent
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) Very good
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (TV) Masterpiece Watching Brotherhood made me think of the 1st series as something considerably inferior, and I thought that the 1st series was very good, just that Brotherhood is that much better.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa Excellent
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie) Masterpiece A lovely, saddening movie with exactly what it says on the tin, I can't really say much else other than watch it.
Gurren Lagann (TV) Masterpiece The most epicness of epicness ever, with the pretty much saying every episode, "You thought the last episode was epic? Hah, that wasn't epic, this is epic." A wonderful animé original series in which you see Simon go from unloved pariah who loves to dig to Universe's saviour, all the characters in the show grow on you from boisterous Kamina, to busty Yoko, to extremely adorable Nia. Great show, bittersweet/downer ending.
Hetalia - Axis Powers (TV) Excellent Hilarious parody of the countries in the world between World War I and World War II, this show is actually sort of subtle in its stereotypes, unless you watch the dub, which is just flat out in everything. Italy, the title character, is the bumbling member of the Axis Powers with Japan the Stoic and Germany the leader, and the Allies: America the "hero," Canada the forgotten about by everyone, China the oldest one, England the sane, France the lover, and Russia who everyone is scared of, except for Belarus, Russia is terrified of his yandere younger sister Belarus.
Hetalia World Series (TV) Excellent Just the continuation of Axis Powers with a broader scope of time with lots of scenes from pre WWI and some after WWII, and the great Nekotalia.
Howl's Moving Castle (movie) Excellent
Inuyasha (TV) Masterpiece The show that introduced me to, and brought me into animé, is a lovely tale about the human girl from 1997 Kagome and the half-demon from Japan's Feudal era Inuyasha, and their adventure to take down Naraku.
InuYasha: The Final Act (TV) Masterpiece The ending of Inuyasha, a much much faster paced and action filled form of the original show, is just as good or better than the first series.
InuYasha: The Tragic Love Song of Destiny (special) Masterpiece
K-ON! (TV) Very good
Kämpfer (TV) Good This show was alright, it had a bunch of interesting characters, except for the fact that the main character was a complete idiot, and not in the totally awesome way like Luffy and Son Goku. I have empathy for all the female characters that were interested in male Natsuru because of how imbecolic he is, especially Shizuku during and after their date. Alright show, but Idiot Pinball Protagonist gets in the way of this being truly enjoyable. Another example of his obliviousness is when the three girls kissed him and forced him to grope them in various places, and he still didn't quite get it.
Kämpfer für die Liebe (special) Good
Kiki's Delivery Service (movie) Excellent
Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren (movie segment) Masterpiece Common law of "Tarantino = great" applies here.
Kite (OAV) Very good Even though this film was great, I was caught off guard by the content,, I had no idea that it was an adult film before watching. However, it did have a good story, and a very ambiguous ending.
(The) Laughing Target (OAV) Excellent
Lucky Star (TV) Masterpiece Hirano Aya is a champ as Konata, and the rest of the cast is completely brilliant, what more can I say
Lucky Star OVA Excellent
Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (movie) Excellent
Maris the Chojo (OAV) Excellent
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Masterpiece
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV 2009 renewal) Masterpiece All I have to say is the only thing I did not like about this was Endless Eight. The rest is grand.
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya (ONA) Masterpiece A hilarious parody of an amazing show, recommended to fans of Suzumiya Haruhi, you will be lost if you've never seen the original.

Rosario + Vampire (TV) Very good I never thought that there would be a period in my life in which I would think that panty shots are too plenty, but now this show has convinced me otherwise. Also a hollowed out version of the manga that it is based upon.
Rosario + Vampire Capu2 (TV) Decent I also never thought that I would miss the pantyshots when they started going overkill with the censoring. Highlights of this series was the opening and ending themes, most of the episodes weren't memorable, and no character development.
Rurouni Kenshin (TV 1996) Excellent
Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal (OAV) Masterpiece
Samurai 7 (TV) Very good
School Days (TV) Excellent The tone of this differs EXTREMELY from the beginning of the series to the end, being one of the most twisted shows I have ever seen in my life, and has affectively effected me.
School Rumble (TV) Excellent very funny, well written and paced show, although how much Harima likes Tenma usually gets in the way of me fully enjoying this
School Rumble Sangakki (OAV) Very good decent ending, although it would've been nicer if all of the 3rd semester was animated instead of its last two moments, still not enjoying Harima's crush on Tenma, feel sorry for Yakumo and Eri, leaves so many things unresolved
School Rumble: 2nd Semester (TV) Excellent much much funnier and fleshed out then the first, although not as much development over the course of the entire season. Yakumo, Eri, and Ichijou easily are the highlights, with Suou, Akira, Lala, and Togo beng amazing characters as well. Harima liking Tenma is still equally annoying, still wish there was more development between Harima and Eri as well as Hamira and Yakumo
School Rumble: Extra Class (OAV) Masterpiece amazing fleshing out of Yakumo's character
(The) Secret World of Arrietty (movie) Masterpiece

Toradora! (TV) Excellent
Urusei Yatsura (TV 1981) Masterpiece Probably the most hilarious show that I have ever watched in my life, Urusei Yatsura is one of the biggest cultural forces in animé, seeing as how the series ended 23 years ago, it's character Lum is seen in advertisements around the world. This series started, parodied, and deconstructed many many genres, and does it better than almost every other show of similar genres. It started so many tropes that we now take for granted, and ones that a lot of media would be very different if this show hadn't of introduced them first. Highly recommended to anyone.
Urusei Yatsura OVA Series Masterpiece This set continues the hilarity and amazingness that was Urusei Yatsura. However, this is also inferior in some noticeable ways. The animation in the all but the last OVA is considerably lower than that of the TV Series, and although I'm not a videophile, this annoyed me very much. Although the story ideas for all of the OVAs were absolutely brilliant, only some - OVAs 3-9 and 12 - managed to pull it off. Terror of Girly-Eyes Measles and Date with a Spirit, OVAs 10 and 11 respectably, had great potential to be amazing, however the quality of the animation was a massive hinderance in these two. OVAs 1 and 2 were just summary OVAs, which are ok, but the quality of the new animation for these was also lacking. Despite all these misgivings, they are very worthy of a view, and it is especially recommended to anyone who liked the TV Series. The OVAs 3, 4, and 12, which are Inaba the Dreammaker, Raging Sherbet, and The Obstacle Course Swim Meet respectively are definitely the best in this set of OVAs, with the last one being probably one of the most hilarious, most wacky and most triumphant example of the series as a whole, suddenly making me really really wish that they would continue making more OVAs because it was absolutely amazing. OVAs 5-9 were also extremely high calibre outings humour-wise.
Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer (movie 2) Excellent
Urusei Yatsura: Lum The Forever (movie 4) Excellent
Urusei Yatsura: Only You (movie 1) Very good
Urusei Yatsura: Remember My Love (movie 3) Excellent
Urusei Yatsura: The Final Chapter (movie 5) Masterpiece An absolutely perfect ending to this amazing series, this film epitomizes the heart of the series, and it easily has one of the best mixes of drama and humour that this series has had. With a heartfelt ending that was similar to the feel of this series, this film certainly doesn't betray any fan, unless those people would rather have Ataru end up with someone, which is unlikely for anyone to feel based on the series as a whole. It also has some of the highest quality animation out of the whole series, second only to The Obstacle Course Swim Meet, but that is to be expected because that was released 20 years after this film. Film had great pacing, and all the characters suited what the series built them up to be. There is not much that could've been done to make this film better, it is a suitable end for the series.
Voices of a Distant Star (OAV) Masterpiece
Whisper of the Heart (movie) Masterpiece
