Afro Samurai (TV)

Appleseed (movie) Excellent
Bartender (TV) Good
Bleach: Memories in the Rain (OAV)
Bleach: The Sealed Sword Frenzy (OAV)
Buso Renkin (TV) Good
Comedy (OAV)
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie Very good
Death Note (live-action movie) Good
The version of the movie I saw had the worst subtitles I've ever seen in a fansub!.. "He's so fearfulness!"

The manga is the best I've ever read (not saying much about how cultured I am in the field of manga), so I have to see this movie. Funny thing, also. I thought Red Hot Chili Peppers' song "Dani California" got famous in America because it was in the Death Note movie preview..... That was a rude awakening for me.
Dragon Ball GT (TV)
Dragon Ball GT: A Hero's Legacy (special) Decent
Dragon Ball Movie 1: Curse of the Blood Rubies Good
Dragon Ball Movie 2: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle Decent
Dragon Ball Movie 3: Mystical Adventure Good
Dragon Ball Movie 4: The Path to Power Decent
Dragon Ball Z (TV) Very good
Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku (special) Very good
The heartbreaking story of valiant Bardock's story, and how his people died with the betrayal of Freeza. The English dub had great music and wonderful VAs. If only I had that tape now. I wish I never lent it out to a kid who I knew wouldn't return it and then move halfway across the country.
Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly (movie 11) Weak
Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound (movie 9)
Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming (movie 10) Not really good
Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan (movie 8)
Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge (movie 5)
Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone (movie 1)
Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn (movie 12)
Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug (movie 4) So-so
I liked the action in this one, but I didn't get how when Goku went Super Saiyan, his hair didn't turn gold. Definitely odd....
Dragon Ball Z: Plan to Destroy the Saiyajin (OAV)
Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13! (movie 7)
Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks (special) Excellent
Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler (movie 6)
Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might (movie 3)
Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest (movie 2)
Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon (movie 13) Good
Elfen Lied (TV) Not really good
(+) Character Designs; fluid animation; short series so that you don't have to watch it for too long

(-) Too cold-blooded and graphic at times; Nyuu not speaking was annoying; Yuka's constant jealousy was annoying as well; not as "symbolic" as people make it out to be; story is not as great as people make it out to be, but it had potential

Rating: C+
Elfen Lied (OAV)
End of the World (OAV)
Eureka Seven (TV) Excellent (dub & sub)
Fate/stay night (TV) Very good
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (movie) Excellent
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (US CG movie)
Flame of Recca (TV) Bad
FLCL (OAV) Very good (dub & sub)
(+) Good things come in small packages; hilarious; subtle symbolism, or at least to me; a little too short, but it certainly wouldn't have worked well at a length longer than what it was

(-) A little too random at times

Rating: A-
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) Excellent (dub & sub)
This was the anime that got me back into anime. I have to say that it was a great series. There was a great storyline, great character development, and great designs. I have to say that there wasn't enough action for me though. The occasional fights weren't enough to compliment the amazing plot the anime has. I'll definitely rewatch this right after they release box sets and I purchase them. Also, this anime is all about the connection between two brothers, and their journey through thick and thin for each other. It's definitely got morals that everyone can appreciate.

Rating: A
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa Masterpiece (dub & sub)
Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo (TV) Masterpiece
(The) Gokusen (TV) Good
Grave of the Fireflies (movie) Excellent
Extremely Depressing
Hametsu No Mars (OAV) Bad
Higan (OAV)
Hikaru no Go (TV) Very good (dub & sub)
Hikaru No Go: New Year Special Good
Hunter X Hunter (TV 1999) Excellent
(+) Good character development with all the main characters; all characters were likeable, even the arch-nemesis; musical score was well done and fitting; had its own twist on a human supernatural power (Nen), which allowed everyone to have their own unique capabilities; Killua was badass, and Kurapica was off the chains; Gon was adorable; NO FILLER!!!

(-) Animation's a little old, but that's forgiveable considering the time it was released; started off pretty slowly; Hunter Exam took a while to get through

Rating: A
Hunter X Hunter (OAV) Good
(+) Action, though somewhat scarce, was very well done; drama and the strength of friendship between all of the characters, even the Ryodan, was quite admirable and touching; ending and resolve, though not what I would've asked for, did have a lasting effect, and continued the innocence of the series; loved the OP

(-) Kurapica never exacted his revenge on the Spiders, wasn't as entertaining as othe OAVs; so much more that could've been accomplished

Rating: B+
Hunter X Hunter: G I Final (OAV) Very good
Many people said that this OVA gave an incomplete ending to the HxH series. I felt it gave a sufficient ending that let the audience use their imaginations to find an ending to some of the loose ends of the series. I have to say that this OVA had the best animation of any of the other parts of the series, and that the music was some of the best. The action was amazing, Hisoka was sly and badass as usual, and Gon and Killua proved that they truly are prodigies in the field of Nen. Accompanied by Bisuke, they were the ulimate team of friends, which any viewer couldn't help but ask for. Also the nemesis was slick too, and he had a quite interesting Nen ability.

Rating: A-
Hunter X Hunter: Greed Island (OAV) Excellent
I loved this OVA. Gon and Killua start on another great adventure as friends, and show how much they've matured by starting their advancement into the world of Nen. The music was good, animation was remarkably more superb and sharper than the first OVA and main series. The one thing I didn't like was the lack of action that the other two OVA's and main series had.

Rating: A
I''s (OAV) Bad
Ichi the Killer (live-action movie) Weak
Ichigo 100% (TV) Very good
Ichigo 100% (special)
Initial D (TV) Weak
(+) Street races were entertaining sometimes; drifting is pretty sweet

(-) Street racing was way too repetitive; attempted to make drama with street racing; techno music didn't help add any suspense; character designs were somewhat primitive and made it less enjoyable; 3D cars made it seem like somewhat of a joke

Rating: C
InuYasha the Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass Good
InuYasha the Movie 3: Swords of an Honorable Ruler Decent
InuYasha the Movie 4: Fire on the Mystic Island So-so
Jikū Bōken Nūmamonjaa (OAV)
Kai Doh Maru (OAV) Good
Kakurenbo - Hide & Seek (movie) So-so
Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren (movie segment)
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Excellent
(+) Animation was the best and most fluid I've ever seen; detailed, beautiful character designs, you could even see the subtle emotions of each character in their expression; each character's "background" made them very interesting, turns out the most normal character was the most interesting; the story/plot was so original; brilliant order to air the episodes; enough comedy to make me believe at one point that it was just a comedy series; the OP was extremely catchy, and there was no slacking off on OP animation

(-) .... Too many big, scientific words used by Nagato?

Rating: A
Mobile Fighter G Gundam (TV) Good
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed (TV) Very good
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed C.E.73: Stargazer (ONA)

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny Final Plus: The Chosen Future (OAV) Good
Mobile Suit Gundam Seed MSV Astray (OAV Promo)
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (TV) Excellent
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition (movie) Very good
(+) Stellar and beautiful Gundam designs; angel Wing Zero was beautiful; animation was very well done; good voice acting for the dub

(-) Story wasn't the greatest to conclude the series

Rating: A-
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (OAV) Very good
Naruto (TV) Excellent
Truly a Shonen series, it allows anybody watching to enjoy the action and art that they experience when they watch this series. The fights are nice, with an interesting special characteristic everybody shares (chakra), which allows them to each use individual moves. The series does tend to drag on battles at some points, and the story is somewhat cliched, but other than that it's true fun.
Naruto Special: Battle at Hidden Falls. I Am the Hero! (OAV)
Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom (movie 3)
Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel (movie 2) Good
Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow Decent
I thought it was a little generic, though, in the sense that it's just Naruto eventually getting someone to root for them in the end after being doubted throughout the entire arc (like the Zabuza arc in the case of Inari).
Naruto: Akaki Yotsuba no Clover o Sagase (OAV)
Naruto: Konoha Sports Festival (movie)
Ninja Scroll (movie) Decent
Outlaw Star (TV) Excellent
I saw this series when I was much younger, but I have to say, that even now this anime truly is one of my all-time favorites. The ship designs are original and fresh. Having the ships themselves wield guns is an extraordinary concept. I also particularly liked the character design and original storyline. Also, the personalities of the characters are very likeable. They explain why Gene can be so cold, and yet so badass at some points. I can't really find anything that I didn't like about this anime. It was just so good.

Samurai Champloo (TV) Very good
Samurai: Hunt for the Sword (OAV) So-so
SD Gundam Force (TV) Worst ever
Shakugan no Shana (TV) Very good
(+) Wonderful art! I loved the character designs, especially the details of the eyes; great animation; great concept for the plot; wonderful fight scenes (always a bright spot for me); wonderful musical score, and the first ED was by far one the biggest highlights of the series for me; fanservice was kept to a minimum

(-) Many characters were under-developed, including the Tomogara twins, who had no background at all; somewhat dragged out towards the end of the series; the romance in the series was a little annoying, and I felt it took away from the overall theme of the series

Rating: A-
Shakugan no Shana SP: Koi to Onsen no Kōgai Gakushū! (OAV) So-so
Pure Fanservice - not my cup of tea
Spirited Away (movie) Excellent
