Same old stupidity of protagonists I can't stand: killed many faceless enemies, can't kill one foe that was a friend and now is a traitor...
Also need to point out an extreme ignorance of the main protagonist who seemingly cannot use his brain to save himself and only survives by lots of luck. |

I'm not really into fantasy, but rather science fiction. But this anime is great on so many levels: voice acting, scenario, scenes, plot, not-a-cliche, rich and multiple characters, well drawn emotions,
3D and 2D are undistinguishable! Except for unnatural flying physics cgi (and that does not diminishes it's beauty) i cannot complain about anything else.
Recommend for all! Truly amazing! |

On top of that there are those redundant explanations of a different powers, hidden bumps, previously happened bla-bla and so on (was it targeted for people with alzheimer?)
And to add insult to injury it is thinned with fillers.
Honestly, if you want people to watch it, DON'T MAKE THEM WAIT AN ETERNITY. |

Excellent character development (even the side characters). Overall aesthetics are experimental, yet so well done and polished it does not break an immersion. Episodes have no fillers: each story is complete and entertaining addition to the overarching journey.
And what makes it truly a masterpiece is the animation, it's never sloppy, it flows, it lives - especially in the fight scenes. |
