| Robotech (U.S. TV) | I couldn't bring myself to rate this one. Nostalgia kinda gets in the way. I know I would cry bloody murder if something like Robotech were done in this day and age. It's basically a hack job. Terrible voice acting too. But I love it anyway. I highly recommend the Protoculture collection if you have nostalgia for Robotech. If not, you should probably avoid it and get Macross instead. | |

Don't get me wrong, because I still enjoyed it! But I had to dock it's rating because of these flaws. I want to read the manga. Hopefully it'll help fill in the holes. |
| Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE the Movie: The Princess in the Birdcage Kingdom | Good | This should have been a lot longer. How can you call something a half hour long a movie?! It seems to try to stuff a full movie's plot into that half hour, like they had a script all written but then were told they only had the budget for 30 minutes of animation. It's a shame, really because I love Tsubasa and a "real" Tsubasa movie would be wonderful. Good thing it comes with the briliant XXXHolic movie. |
