| Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection (OAV) | Good | Good, but not what I expected. This was not how this story was supposed to end. The entire anime/manga portrayed Kenshin's fight to find peace. The Kenshin I learned to love and respect would never leave Kaoru to raise their child alone. And for that fact, the Kaoru I know would never let Kenshin leave her like that. She and Kenji would have followed Kenshin to the ends of the earth, helping him on his journey to save the world. This was definetly a terrible ending to such a beautiful and powerful tale of self-forgiveness and redemption... |
