Ani-One Asia Streams Tamon's B-Side, Trigun Stargaze, MHA: Vigilantes Season 2, More

Ani-One Asia announced last week that it has licensed the Tamon’s B-Side, Trigun Stargaze, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes season 2, 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess season 2, The Daily Life of a Part-time Torturer, Kaya-chan Isn't Scary, MF Ghost season 3, Dead Account, Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix-, and Dark Moon: The Blood AltarIn addition, Ani-One Asia's previously announced stream of the You and I Are Polar Opposites anime will premiere on January 11 at 4:30 p.m. GMT +8. Ani-One Asia's previously announced stream of the Sentenced to Be a Hero anime already premiered the first episode on January 3.

The first episode of the anime of Yuki Shiwasu's Tamon’s B-Side (Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!?) manga is already available on Ani-One Asia for users in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, the Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Palau, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

The anime stars:

Chika Nagaoka (Uta no Prince Sama Maji Love Kingdom, Utano☆Princesama Maji LOVE ST☆RISH Tours) is directing the anime at J.C. StaffChiaki Nagai (Utano☆Princesama Legend Star, The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Yōko Itō (Delico's Nursery, Love Stage!!, Skate-Leading Stars) is the character designer and chief animation director. ShochikuKing Records, and Hakusensha are producing the anime.

Viz Media licensed the manga, and it describes the story:

High schooler Utage Kinoshita works part-time as a housekeeper so she can afford her fangirl obsession with Tamon Fukuhara, her favorite member of boy band F/ACE. When work serendipitously sends her to the home of her idol, she discovers that the real Tamon couldn't be more different from his wild and sexy onstage persona!

Tamon is an insecure mess in real life, and what's worse, he's threatening to quit! Utage refuses to let anyone stand in Tamon's way—least of all himself. What's a fangirl to do but roll up her sleeves and support her favorite singer with everything she's got?

Ani-One Asia will stream the Trigun Stargaze anime on January 10 at 11:00 p.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available in Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.

The new cast members for the anime include Chika Ayamori as Milly Thompson, Ryūji Satō as Millions Knives, Chō as Leonof the Puppet-Master, Taketora as Hoppered the Gauntlet, and Shinichirō Miki as Midvalley the Hornfreak.

Trigun Stargaze is the previously announced "final phase" of the Trigun Stampede anime, set 2.5 years after the end of Trigun Stampede.

Masako Sato (Anima Yell!, Haikyu!! To The Top) is directing the anime at Orange. Takehiko Oxi returns from Trigun Stampede for the original story. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Girls' Last Tour, Is the order a rabbit?, Do It Yourself!!) is writing and supervising the series' scripts. Kouji Tajima is returning from Trigun Stampede as the original character designer and concept artist. Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who helmed the recent critically acclaimed film Look Back, is the animation character designer for the anime (Oshiyama previously worked on special effect design on Trigun Stampede).

Trigun Stampede premiered in Japan in January 2023. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

The story follows the misadventures of Vash the Stampede, a gunman on the lam with a "60 billion double dollar" bounty on his head. Vash earned his "Stampede" nickname thanks to the destruction that zealous bounty hunters wreak on any town he visits.

Ani-One Asia will stream the first episode of the second season of the television anime of Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court's My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) manga on January 5 at 10:00 p.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, the Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

The first season premiered in April 2025. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Kenichi Suzuki (Cells at Work!, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) directed the first season at BONES' newly established company BONES FILM. Yōsuke Kuroda returned from the main My Hero Academia anime to write and oversee the series scripts. Takahiko Yoshida (Yowamushi Pedal, Cells at Work!) designed the characters. Yūki Hayashi returned from the main anime to compose the music alongside Shōgo Yamashiro and Yūki Furuhashi.

The manga is a spinoff of Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga. The spinoff takes place before the start of the main manga. Viz Media describes the story of the first volume:

Koichi Haimawari couldn't make the cut to become an official hero, so he uses his modest Quirk to do good deeds in his spare time. Then one day a fateful encounter with some local thugs leads him to team up with two other unlikely heroes. None of them really know what they're doing, but they've got the courage—or foolishness—to try. But they soon discover fighting evil takes more than just being brave…

Ani-One Asia will stream the first episode of the second season of the  television anime of Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei's 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess (Hime-sama, "Gōmon" no Jikan Desu) manga on January 12 at 9:30 p.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available in Southeast Asian territories. Ani-One Asia describes the anime:

The battle between the Imperial Army and Hellhorde has continued for many years.The princess, who is also the Commander of the Third Legion of the Imperial Army, is now being captured by the Hellhorde.”'Tis Time for “Torture”, Princess”. Mutsumi Tamura joins the cast as Sakura Heartrock. The new cast also includes Yukari Tamura as Hamu-chan and Tomokazu Sugita as Penta.

South Korean girl group ILLIT will perform the anime's opening theme song "Sunday Morning," and Japanese singer-songwriter Yuika will perform the ending theme song "Ohime-sama ni wa Narenai" (I Can't Become a Princess).

Yōko Kanamori (The Ancient Magus' Bride, Attack on Titan episode director) directed the anime at PINE JAM, and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Dropkick on My Devil!, In the Land of Leadale) was in charge of the series scripts. Toshiya Kōno (Schwarzes Marken sub-character designs) and Satoshi Furuhashi (Comet Lucifer prop design assistance) designed the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama (Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) composed the music.

Ani-One Asia streamed the first episode of the television anime of Yawora Tsugumi's Gōmon Baito-kun no Nichijō (The Everyday Life of Torture Part-Time Workers) manga on Sunday, January 4 at 11:00 p.m. GMT +8. Fumitoshi Oizaki (The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl, Romeo × Juliet, 2026 Sgt. Frog film) is directing the anime at diomedéa. Hitomi Amamiya (The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl, A Condition Called Love, Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle) is in charge of series scripts, and Sakae Shibuya (The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl, Akuma Kun, Magical Girl Site) is designing the characters. 

The dark workplace comedy manga takes place in a world where murder and torture are legal and numerous "torture contract companies" exist. Cero and Shiu work part time for the "Spirytus" torture company, which is known for treating its employees well and only targeting bad people. Two new part time hires — Mikke and Hugh — also join the company, and the four enjoy their torture-working life.

Ani-One Asia will stream the first episode of television anime of Shizumu Watanabe's Dead Account manga on January 10 at 11:00 a.m. GMT +8. The anime will be available in Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Timor-Leste, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The manga is set in a world where ghosts have also inhabited the Internet, following the tradition that ghosts linger on in places where they have strong attachments. The story centers on a Sōji Enishiro, a 15-year-old boy who also streams under the handle "Aoringo." He streams deliberately violent, clickbaity, and provocative content to get reactions and earn money, but it is all for the cause of taking care of his younger sister's medical bills. In real life, he is a simple boy who only loves to eat pudding and loves his sister, whom he would go to hell and back for. One time, while online, he is attacked by a ghost who resides in the online world, and it leaves him spiritually awakened. He is recruited by Miden Academy, a school specializing in training exorcists who tackle the digital realm. The manga is unrelated to Watanabe and Okushō's earlier Real Account manga.

Keiya Saitō (Rokudo's Bad Girls) is directing the anime at Synergy SP. Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero, Rent-A-Girlfriend) is overseeing the series scripts, and Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion) is composing the music at Nippon Columbia. Haru Igarashi performs the anime's opening theme song "Dead End," and Miyu Kaneko performs the ending theme song "Raise wa Dōse" (In the Next Life Anyway).

Ani-One Asia will stream the first episode of the Oedo Fire Slayer -The Legend of Phoenix- television anime based on Hikuidori (Fire Eater), the first volume from Shōgo Imamura's Ushūboro Tobigumi historical novel series, on January 12 at 12:00 a.m. GMT +8. Dark Moon: The Blood Altar

Ani-One Asia will stream the first episode of television anime of HYBE and ENHYPEN's Dark Moon: The Blood Altar webtoon on January 10 at 12:30 a.m. GMT +8. 

The anime will star:

Shōko Shiga is directing the anime at TROYCATōko Machida is overseeing the series scripts, Masami Inomata is designing the characters, and Naoki "naotyu-" Chiba is composing the music. Takatoshi Hamano is directing the sound.

Yen Press has licensed the series, and it describes the story:
