(The first anime movie for me and there is nothing I can say except "three peanuts", Well thats not gonna fly is it ? It is the story of a possible evolution of human's and what it might cost. The artwork , character design's are very realistic and fluid. I think the music is really authentic ,with lots of japanese instruments being used. As to the pace it kick's off right away with one of the coolest motorcycle chase's I have seen to date. (9-6-05)) |

I ended up really liking this series , the depth of the characters is so enthralling. The art style and the animation are smooth through out the show. ( You will never look at that Burger the same way after watching this. We all need to take responsibility for our earth. I like the way they incorporated nature into the story . If you hate tree huggers than stay away from this one. I still eat meat but it did afect my life in alot of ways. The music is great , good animation and great characters. Personaly I think every one in the world could learn some thing by watching this anime, one of the best out there.) |

(The second movie's that I bought , I love this pair of movie's. The mars setting with more than half the populace being 2nd types and a well writen story, make for a great movie exsperience's. I realy think the music fit's these movie's perfectly. I also liked the way the characters kind of followed there own code. As well as the many fight seen's , and the sacrafices of war are well imparted on the veiwer long after watching.) |

( The story is well told with character development being the key element. The first episode is a bit confusing and you are left wondering whats going on. By the second episode it starts the core of the story. This is a good solid series I just could not get over how hokey the whole ending was. Except for a couple of well done scenes like the rape scene,(I am not saying rape is cool in fact it scared me it seemed so real ! ) and Gutts fighting. This is a good show for action, blood and betrayal. ) |

Actualy I am joking again and no I do not think the series is a comedy. Ok lets get serious the show is about two kids who are like soul mates that pilot a giant mecha togather. These two kids are all ways in trouble and getting rescued by Better man . The show starts off slow but it was not too bad. Chica chong is delighted! The intro was very cool mix of real under water footage with animated characters, one of the most original I have seen. This turned out to be a fun show, and although it might not have mass appeal it is still a fine show.) |

(I love this show it has such epic story telling , charecters are well developed and the art is exellent as well. This is a heart warming series with battle elements, and a love angle . The originality of this series makes it one of my favorite shows. They even created a new language for the series.I should say also that the two other sequels that I own are excellent as well. Banner to the stars one and two share the same characteristics as Crest of stars, in that they are all great arcs to the story. Absoulutly worth the money to buy all of the arc's and the time it will take to watch.) |

( These were the first episodes of modern anime that I watched on CN and it hooked me into the show. Had I known what I was in for, I might have reconsidered. Having said that, I realy liked this series, and I own all 87 dvd's. You either like the Dragon ball Z or you don't thats how it seems to be in fandom any way. The kid in me liked the show, and I am not afraid to be a kid in a way once in a while. When I heard, and saw one of Vegita's little moments, I was hooked hard. I love that characters voice and his all out style. ) |

I do remember not being that impressed by the CG 2d mix I think this was one of the first times they tried that. I also remember the acting being kind of sub par or mabey it was the directers fault? Any way if you want to see this you should rent it you can get it almost every where. |

(Medical mechanica is out to iron the worlds wrinkle's. This show can be bizzar but it is realy good piece of work. The Pillow's do the sound track and they even get interveiws with the band in the DVD insert's. The series is only six episodes so it pretty much gets right into the core of the story. I thought that the character's were fairly simple which is fine for a short series. I like the underlieing theam that runs through out the show . It is a thought inspiring show that I really enjoyed. The music is killer and it fits the series perfectly. The Pillows are a great rock band even if I can not understand the lyrics.) |

Good show developes kind of slow and can be confusing. That should not stop you from watching this series. If you are new to anime stick with it until at least half way befor you give up. The music fits the mysteriouse plot and characters. The thing that hooked me to this show was the style in which the world was set up and the design of the characters. I really really love this sound track for me it is up lifting , and very sad at the same time. ) |

(Bust out the tissues you will most likely need them . I was very moved by this work of art. It reminded me of people I have lost and the emotions that those loses caused . It would be hard for me to exsplane that last statement so I will not try. I loved the artwork and the design of the town as well as the town's people. The charcole feathers are all to cute and I had no trouble liking them. some of the parts that really broke me up, like when Rocca falls down the well and whole entire Recci thing just kills me. I think this should be watched by all so do not let my thoughts scare you away! It was just a very personal series for me.) |

(I like the show even though it starts real slow and then picks up. I think the mystery angle was played to much in the begining. over all this dose not really matter in the end. Claires story was very interesting in that she had tried to start over in a way so many times. My favorite character in this show is Armblast I can relate to him as well as one can to a fictional character. At times this series is very intence but it has a lighter fan service side also. I was entertained most of the way through and thats why I do not have a problem recomending this show.) |

(Zeta Gundam is my favorite Gundam series. Most Gundam fan's will agree on this one, it has all the bang you will need.The plot has a dark tone to it that will keep you involved with the story. There is plenty of Mobile suit battles in space as well as earth . all in all the greatest Gundam series I have seen.) |

(This is a cool set of stories follow three generations of the Mutsu clan on their hard hitting adventures. The idea of stretching the story out to three gens is not a new concept but it really worked well for this series. The Mutsu Enmei style of fighting displayed through out the show is fun to watch (I am not sure if that style is a real style or not). The small amount of romance is perfect not over done for a fighting story. The back ground art seemed to be historicly correct along with the general attitude of the back ground characters. I think this series is well worth the time and money! ) |
